I don't post often -- but I joined these boards as a mere 18 year old in March of 2001. Here I am at almost 30 -- and, like I said, while I don't post here often -- I feel like I know many of you from over the years just from reading the posts. We've been through so much together these last 12 years!

lol there must've been alot of angry and upset giants fans when you first joined. 10 years after their second super bowl win they go to their third and get blown out of the water.

Me being one of them! I was so upset and depressed one March Saturday morning back in 2001...I remember joining...and never looking back!

Harooni, I've also seen some 2001 sign ups around here -- but never before March! Haha. I do remember talking with you back around 2002-2004...I was heavily depressed after 39-38 so most of my posts are probably from then...

Yea, I just felt like we were so close with Fassel -- but we just always made stupid mistakes at horrible times. To this day it upsets me that guys like Hilliard, Hamilton, Garnes, Barrow, and Armstead never won with us....It seems like it was just yesterday they were here. Incredible.

Years ago I was more active than I am anymore. I tend to spend time on here anymore during draft and FA talks. Once the season is near, I drift away, not really sure why.

Barrow was one of my favs, still to this day I regret losing him more than most.

I still remember battling Harooni for years over Eli, then after his 3rd disgusting year I finally agreed with him. I wanted his *** gone, lol. Then he won a superbowl, go figure.

I remember a number of people from when I joined in 2002 (had a different name "spudsafan"), don't recall anyone around longer. Back then it was the blue boards and Ron Dayne as the bane of the boards.

Then he won a superbowl, go figure.i wanted us to draft Eli over Robert Gallery (both of whom went #1 and #2) and we had the #4 and drafted Rivers. I was so pissed! I went to training camp to watch Eli and was impressed with the zip and spiral he threw. Met Kurt Warner and thought he looked good also. When Eli finally played, I was not impressed. Always throwing off his back foot. It wasn't long that Harooni and I were his biggest critics on the message board! I just could not understand why fans were enamored with him except that he was Peyton's brother. Finally he won the Super Bowl and started making big improvements on his game but I still see some of the same old **** with him but not as often. I am sure Harooni feels the same way.

Shall we discuss Tiki? Lol

I too joined in 2001 ...... but when our passwords weren't carried over..... back during the upgrading of the message board, I decided to change my name as well...... which sorta ended my streak (so to speak).
Under this name, I'm at 3600 irrelevant posts and counting!
I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, and people rarely agree with me, but I hope, if nothing else, that my passion for the G-Men comes through and that I've at least shown myself to have been consistent with my opinions, views, praise and criticism!.

I had some Tiki Barber name prior to this account. Made this account the day of the draft.

I defended Eli here so many times. I was always balanced and fair with my assessment of Eli. I would criticize when warranted, but would defend against the absurdities. I think there was a get rid of Eli faction and a faction that wanted to gut the coaching staff and let Eli play in another system before giving up hope. I definitely was losing my confidence in 07. I'm glad he showed up after my loyalty to him.

You think Harooni is bad now?? Its nothing compared to how he used to act in 2004-2007. He also vowed to never come back here in if Tiki Barber was booed in 2010 at halftime during the Ring of Honor induction vs the Bears. The guy loves attention, look at his post totals.

Cheers. 2000 is the earliest I've seen. Not sure if the bards were around in the late 90's but we have some good tenured posters around here.

While I havent been around since 01, I was reading the boards at that time.

In my 10 years on these boards (i dont post too much) these past few offseasons have seen the most ridiculous posts.

Maybe because we went 4-12 and had two alcoholics running the team, Fassel and Collins.

Good times nonetheless. the Ron Dayne experiment. Ron Dixon was a sight. Sehorns last years. Stra in his prime, and Kerry slinging the pigskin to Toomer, Hilliard, Jurevicious

....then enter the man, the myth, the legend: Eli Manning. And giants nation got turned right side up :)

For the onlookers, watchers, and guests, and especially the long-timers, feel free to post and express your thoughts and opinions about the Giants (within the forum rules of course). Do not be intimidated, most of us don't bite.

Could be if you go by membership. Check my sig, My first post was the day after they lost to the Ravens in the Super Bowl. I posted my first post as Anonymous. Yup back then you didn't need to be a member to post. Many people should have seen that message board though, lol. The layout was illegible which is why I waited to join as an official member, per my sig, when they made a more pleasing to the eyes layout. From March 2002-May 2006 I think I averaged one post a day. Time to probably bump that post count up a bit. The post count that I have in my sig goes back to the beginning of the May 2006 board.

Edit: Post count bumped to 5500+ lol.
