Solid all around draft. I like it, a lot of good value picks here. Good job man.

Like that 2nd rounder, Barett Jones..he's gonna be the reincarnation of rich seubert lol. Think we could use another DT either Short in the second, or Bennie Logan in the third..

I'm off the Ogletree bandwagon ... I think he becomes a very good WILL at the NFL level and we have our starter and depth at that spot.

I really don't like Barrett Jones for the Giants. I don't see them drafting an OG/C in the second, especially when RT is what we really need.

Ironically, I'm a huge Denard Robinson fan (as much as you can be for a late round prospect).

Tackle is our most stable position, with resigned Beatty. We still have Diehl at RT, and Brewer looked excellent towards the end of the season vs Baltimore. They even used him at RG over Snee's spot. Plus Mosley and Mc Cants. We're good at Tackle, could use a good guard selection in the draft like a cooper or warmack.

I love it. I think the first mock I did had Ogletree and Jones as my #1 and #2. Can't remember if I put Jones or Jesse Williams, but I think Barrett Jones would be great for us. He wants to play Center in the NFL but would be just as good at guard. 2 spots we need for the price of one.

Barrett Jones played LT as well... I don't think he'll play tackle in the NFL but I think he may have won the Outland Trophy the year he played tackle.

I've read that Baas is a better guard anyway..

We wanted Pouncey in that Prince draft. I think we could get our future Center/Seubert type, Olineman in Jones. His versatility could make diehl expendable too =D

If they (the Giants) rate Jones that highly than I agree (especially if they believe he can play all five spots on the oline). Big if though.

It's definitely a populated position but I wouldn't call it our most stable. In two seasons, Brewer has *dressed* for six games.

And I don't remember him looking particularly good at RT ... quite the opposite in fact.

But if the Giants are comfy with any of their OT prospects (Brewer, Mosely, McCants, Adc0ck, DD) then yeah I agree that OG is more of a need.

OG is also the easiest position to fill in an NFL offense (hence the lack of priority we've placed on it over the years).

I think they drafted him strickly as an interior line-men..
