NFL SET TO ANNOUNCE PRO BOWL ROSTERS TONIGHT AT 7 P.M., WHICH GIANTS SHOULD MAKE THE CUT? (http://www.giants101.com/2011/12/27/nfl-set-to-announce-pro-bowl-rosters-at-7-pm-which-new-york-giants-should-make-the-cut/)

"The 2012 NFL (http://www.giants101.com/tag/nfl/) Pro Bowl
rosters will be announced tonight at 7 PM on NFL (http://www.giants101.com/tag/nfl/) Network. At 8-7, the <a class="st_tag internal_tag" title="Posts tagged with New York Giants" href="http://www.giants101.com/tag/new-york-giants/" rel="tag nofollow">New York
Giants</a> are far more concerned with their upcoming showdown with the Dallas
Cowboys on Sunday night for the NFC East crown and a ticket to the postseason.

Here at Giants 101 however, we want to take some time out and recognize some
of the Giants that have kept this team in position to play for the division, and
been at the top of the NFL (http://www.giants101.com/tag/nfl/) with their play all season long. Which <a class="st_tag internal_tag" title="Posts tagged with New York Giants" href="http://www.giants101.com/tag/new-york-giants/" rel="tag nofollow">New York
Giants</a> will be playing in Honolulu this year? You'll find out in a little
less than three hours, but we can tell you the Giant candidates for the roster
right now.</p>

DE <a class="st_tag internal_tag" title="Posts tagged with Jason Pierre-Paul" href="http://www.giants101.com/tag/jason-pierre-paul/" rel="tag nofollow">Jason
Pierre-Paul</a></p>

If Pierre-Paul isn't on the Pro-Bowl roster tonight, the NFL (http://www.giants101.com/tag/nfl/) needs to
scrap the entire process. JPP has been arguably the best all-around defensive
end in football (http://www.giants101.com/tag/football/)
this season, ranking third in the NFL (http://www.giants101.com/tag/nfl/) with 15.5 sacks, and leading all defensive linemen in
football (http://www.giants101.com/tag/football/)
with 81 tackles. There is no doubt that Pierre-Paul has been leading this Giants
defense with his explosive play and energy all season, and the argument can be
made that he's right up there with <a class="st_tag internal_tag" title="Posts tagged with Eli Manning" href="http://www.giants101.com/tag/eli-manning/" rel="tag nofollow">Eli
Manning</a> as the team's MVP on the season.</p>

Season Stats: 81 Tackles, 15.5 sacks, 2 Forced Fumbles, 1 Forced
Safety</p>

QB <a class="st_tag internal_tag" title="Posts tagged with Eli Manning" href="http://www.giants101.com/tag/eli-manning/" rel="tag nofollow">Eli
Manning</a></p>

Without a consistent running game, with musical chairs being played along the
offensive line protecting him, and with a defense playing far below <a class="st_tag internal_tag" title="Posts tagged with New York Giants" href="http://www.giants101.com/tag/new-york-giants/" rel="tag nofollow">New York
Giants</a> standards on the season, <a class="st_tag internal_tag" title="Posts tagged with Eli Manning" href="http://www.giants101.com/tag/eli-manning/" rel="tag nofollow">Eli
Manning</a> has been absolutely sensational for the G-Men, carrying them
seemingly game in and game out for the majority of the season. Eli has led an
incredible six fourth quarter comebacks for the Giants in 15 games this
season.</p>

Manning ranks third in the NFC in passing yards behind just Drew Brees (who
broke Dan Marino's 27 year long single season passing yardage record last night
against the Falcons) and Aaron Rodgers with 4,587 yards. Manning has developed a
reputation as one of the most lethal and accurate deep passers in football (http://www.giants101.com/tag/football/),
with 16 pass completions for over 40 yards on the season, good for tops in the
NFL (http://www.giants101.com/tag/nfl/).</p>

Season Stats: 60.3% Completion Rate, 4,587 Passing Yards, 26 Touchdown
Passes, 16 Interceptions</p>

WR <a class="st_tag internal_tag" title="Posts tagged with Victor Cruz" href="http://www.giants101.com/tag/victor-cruz/" rel="tag nofollow">Victor
Cruz</a></p>

What an incredible season for <a class="st_tag internal_tag" title="Posts tagged with Victor Cruz" href="http://www.giants101.com/tag/victor-cruz/" rel="tag nofollow">Victor
Cruz</a>, who has stepped up and really taken this Giants passing game to the
next level with his playmaking ability on the outside. From his sensational
touchdown grabs in Philadelphia, to the "did he really just do that?" catch
against Seattle, and the big play performance against the Jets Cruz has been a
one-man highlight reel all year long. The undrafted wideout out of Massachusetts
ranks second to Calvin Johnson in the NFC with 1,358 receiving yards. Here's a
guy that deserves to be in Honolulu as much as anyone in the National Football (http://www.giants101.com/tag/football/)
League this year.</p>

Season Stats: 76 receptions, 1,358 receiving yards, 17.9 YPC, 8
touchdowns</p>

Candidates on the outside looking in</p>

WR Hakeem Nicks, S Kenny Phillips, DT Chris Canty, P Steve
Weatherford"</p>

Honestly I can't say I care tbh. It is and always has been a fraud. I wouldn't be surprised to somehow see O'Hara on that list lol.

One of the "experts" on NFL had David Diehl named to his Pro Bowl Roster as a Guard. That should let you know how confident I am in people's analysis.

I actually hope it is none. Nothing like a little chip on the shoulder going into the playoffs. (yes I consider the Dallas game a playoff game)
