I read before last years draft that he's a mean SOB, and very physical. I mean we drafted him to use him, no?

My mistake I mean LG, to replace Boothe.

That Snee guy is pretty good

Edit- well in that case, I'm sure he will get a chance to compete for that job

I read sonewhere snee was considering retiring. would be nice to restructure him. 11 mil is a lot against the cap. hes good, dont get me wrong. havent heard anything on him lately.

This +1..........or for that matter McCants........you mean to tell me neither these guys can play G?

I really haven't heard anything on whether the Giants feel McCants might be able to step in this year. I've heard Brewer's name mentioned for RT, but nothing about McCants.

McCants looked like the worst football player ever to walk the earth last preseason. Even worse, it looked like he just flat out gave up during one preseason game when he was getting abused.

I would be shocked if this guy makes our 53 man roster.

They're both Tackle prospects, but I believe Mosely's upside was that he could play both (and in most cases, someone who plays Tackle can usually transition to Guard if needed).

So the answer is yes.

might be Mosley by default..

I believe the Giants had Mosley playing some guard during the preseason last year before he got hurt and was put on IR. So I imagine the coaching staff will give him a shot at LG, maybe RT depending on what happens with Boothe and Diehl.

There's a few young OLinemen on the team that got hurt early last season.

Remember that Beatty took a few years to develop and he worked out. Can't give up on the young guys yet.

that would be ideal. Just like it would also be ideal for Brewer to win the RT spot. Both guys were 4th rd. picks.

Ideal but not likely.

Did you watch him play in preseason. looks like he has cement shoes and could not block other teams back ups.

I liked a few things I saw from Stephen Goodin last preseason. Granted it was against third stringers, but he'd be someone to follow as camp and preseason come around.

Don't know if he has the versatility to move inside, he played tackle at Auburn .

If no one better is brought in or drafted, he probably will be the starting LG, and I have no problems with this at all. We need more nasty on the line to run block.

Thought I read when he was drafted tho, he was said to maybe be moved to guard in the NFL.

You probably read that from a Jerry Reese transcript which flatly says that Mosley can develop into both.

I don't think at this point in his development that he coulld go in and man up at G. i wouldn't go that far yet.

I wouldn't go that far just yet with Brandon as to move him inside.

Maybe you're right and he isn't ready but he still has the versatility to make it happen.

This guy was raw but they thought he could develop, he should at least be looking to compete for the position.

Heck, based on those parameters I thought Mitch Petrus was a lock to be a starter also! Lets wait till camp and see just how really "mean" this guy is against really big d-linemen! Then we can make a more accurate assessment! Can't wait for the draft then on to camp!

And he was a " true Guard ". There's nothing written in stone in this league, you have to earn it.

One thing players on this team can't deny is that the opportunities are there, they just have to work hard and show their coaches they can do the job. Lots of young guys on Oline are going to have a chance to showcase their skills, competition wise we all are in for a treat.
