Something smells about this whole Kenny Phillips situation. Sounds like Phillips wasn't liking what he was hearing from the Giants Medical People or Reese about his medical condition which is why the Giants where probably cautious about committing big money to him at this time. So he went elsewhere obviously at any price to get his so-called "Fresh Start" and prove the Giants wrong just like Steve Smith tried to do by signing with the Eagles. Fresh Start???Hey Kenny Phillips does that mean sign with your hated rival for bread crums and get no signing bonus or guaranteed money, and let the Eagles milk you for every bit of info and then just before the season starts when your not 100% you get cut at not a penny spent by the Eagles, because that's what they are going to do. Smart move Kenny. Welcome to the official end of your career. Go join your buddy Steve Smith.

The FA market has been very flat this year, outside of Miami, and a few others. Call it collusion if you'd like, but mid-level players who often got themselves some nice coin were not finding those deals this year.

I think that it is borderline gay that when a player leaves us, some of you guys act like smitten schoolgirls who have been dumped by the guy who took your virginity.

This is a business. The Eagles paid him more than we would and he left. End of story. Get over it.

This type of offseason was predicted when the new CBA was signed... That a lot of mid-level vets would have trouble finding contracts because teams were going to spend money on the big names, and then shell out small money to young, unproven people.

Your wrong and clueless and talking stupid nonsense. You have no idea what the Giants offered him. So get your facts right and stop talking nonsense about what the eagles offered him. They paid him nothing. The Giant offered him something several times and made a final offer on March 7th. Don't care that he left. His call. Just giving my opinion that what he did was a stupid move and his loss. Time to move on.

Your OP is literally 15 minutes old and you're now writing "time to move on?"

So you talk like you know exactly what went down, so what was the Giants offer on March 7th?? AND, you assume that it is something about his medical report. Link?? You really have no clue what you are talking about either. You're just assuming it's the same as the steve Smith deal because it's the same team.
