With Stevie Brown signing tender for $2.02M, I believe #NYG will pay him more in 2013 than Eagles will Kenny Phillips ($1.85M max)

I don't think Andre signed his yet. The signing deadline for RFA is 4/19

Lol.. Glad we got him locked up. This kid is a firecracker. He makes things happen. He not only gets the INTs but he makes YAC like nobodies business

Not so sure Andre Brown has signed his tender yet, but there's definitely no NFL team out there willing to fork a second round pick for either player.

Lol im just sayin. The guy reminds me of james butler the way he gets burnt. Maybe it's because of how bad cornerback play was.

Stevie/Rolle isnt a good combo, especially with the questions at cornerback.

Agreed. I think Will Hill has potential, but none of these guys have the ability KP had to shutdown centerfield. Sure, Brown created turnovers, but at the cost of being burnt. I think Brown and KP would have been a brilliant combo, but alas. Rolle is just aging, he's not big enough to play down near the LOS, and doesn't have the cover skills to play man. I'm also a believer that he was overhyped in Arizona, feasting on awful QBs.

I think safety is one of the top positions of need: RT (assuming Boothe is re-signed), LB, S.

Webster, Prince and company can and will play better with effective safety play.

well they could move rolle back to corner and allow him to play man to man press where he can use his physicality.. this is where rolle excels, not in a zone coverage scheme. He and prince could be a nice duo.

what????? rolle does play by the los in the 3 safety set,,he plays the hybrid LB position. he is a pretty darn good run defender. also,,rolle has excellent man to man skills which are not utilized in this defense.

I won't be shocked if Rolle is moved to corner and TT and Ross are utilized at safety. Let's face it though, anything is better than CC Brown, and we did win a Superbowl with James Butler starting at safety...

I've heard TT could play some safety, if not move there full-time at some point.

His injuries are too constant. He wouldn't have been much of an improvement.

We have heard for so long that KP is a game changer when healthy. Really? I'm not sure what game changing safety averages 1.2 interceptions a year. Ed reed changed games, adrian wilson changed games, polamalu changed games, darren sharper changed games. KP protected the back end well and showed value in todays pass happy passing NFL. Even with KP the giants were not great agains the deep ball. Brown changed games last year with all his picks and return yards. He also gave up some bombs but i'd rather the high risk player then one who's back end is still susceptible and rarely ever forces a turnover. I know i know stevie may have lucked into a ball or two, but seems a bit off to me that a game changer never once lucked or more importantly forced a good year in terms of turnovers - you would think a GREAT center fielder would have.

As Dan Graziano on ESPN pointed out, it's clear that the Giants had no intention of bringing KP back since Stevie Brown's contract is more than the one that KP got with Philly. Not criticizing, just thought that the Giants would have some interest in bringing KP back, but I understand and I completely trust the Giants FO on such decisions. I wish that I could say the same for my NY Mets.

Rolle has played a ton of nickel back for the giants. And he is awful at it. There's a reason he was moved to safety. He has below average cover skills

Tender Question......so he signed the tender.....what does that mean? He's only locked in for this year at $2mil and will be a UFA next year unless a longer term deal isworked out during the season?
