I don't care what people's political views are. I can respect them as long as they are intelligent. Tiki is a smart guy. If he is a Repug, well atleast he doesn't preach to the choir and whine and have an inferioity complex like every other Conservative in this world. Besides, there's nothing wrong with being Republican. There's only something wrong with the American values hating neo-cons.

The entire house and senate is corrupt. Corruption is not exculsive to Republicans. Power does thing to people, even those with the best of intentions. Until we can get rid of all the lobbiests and side deals that make politicians wealthy, the "people's work" will never get done.

Again, plenty of braincells in that dome.

I'll agree he is a bit too wacked out for me.

I, like other Giants fans am a conservative, but Hannity is just too closed-minded and never considers the other side. He is very intelligent though. A theme generally more common amongst Republicans the democrats.

And it shows: Look at their last presidential candidate: John Kerry.

He made Randy Johnson look like a teen heart throb, and had the brains of a thumtack...

Anyway, I digress. I don't think we should be talking politics here anyway. Mods made that clear...

Let's see - Ted Kennedy kills a woman, and Senator Byrd was in the Ku Klux Klan in the 1950's, while Barney Frank also messed around with the house pages and the last democratic president played with fat interns in the Oval office - sounds like the group in "One flew over the Cuckoo's nest". I love how immediately you jump to instances of misuse of power by Democrats as if that's going to deter me from commenting further. The fact of the matter is, I distrust everyone in power - whether they be on the right of left makes no difference to me. And read the wording of the Military Commissions Act. It gives Bush the power to determine who is thrown in jail and put on trial for being a terrorist. In effect, the possibility is there for Bush to throw ordinary Americans into jail because the law does not protect ordinary Americans. This administration doesn't think about what kinds of precedents it sets. Remember, Democrats will be in power again one day. And if they start pulling gestapo tactics thanks to this new law, you only have the current administration to thank for it.

I lost a lot of respect for you. Why do you hate hearing it. You do realize the Giants are and have always been a team of firm Republican values. The Mara family, as well as openly conservative EA, always looks for Republican players when they can. Why do you think we have players like, Feely, Manning, Tiki, our entire offensive line, who embody those values.

You can never have too many Republicans on a team! /forums/html/emoticons/rock.gif

Yes, I am aware of the Giants organization/fan base being right leaning. It saddens me. But I am aware of the lack of support for liberal politica all over the country, so it is nothing new. It's kind of like dog poop, it's everywhere.

Sigh...

Blacks vs. Whites
Christians vs. Muslims
Democrats vs. Republicans

The 21st century and no end in sight for mindless bigotry. Such a shame.

If you're on a side, it's the wrong one.

All conscientious, honest, intelligent people should be independent.

I do find it somewhat interesting that all of the "trolls" on this messageboard seem to gravitate to the Republican side. I won't read too much into that, though.

I really do get sick to my stomach reading some of the stuff you all post. The liberal side of arguments will always win out in time. Slavery, women's rights, civil rights, labor standards, environmental standards, just to name a few. Certainly not all of those are where I would personally like them to be, but they are evolving. Anyway, the liberal side of an argument will inherently always succeed. There are just some of us out there trying to make it happen faster, and some of us out there trying to delay the inevitable.

True of social issues.

But that Keyesian economic model stinks in the real world.

So does the 'pure capitalizm' model.

Hybrids, like most things in life, are not black or white, but seem to work the best from real life evidence.

Lincoln freed the slaves - he was a Republican. The South stayed segregated until the mid 1960's - the South was democratic. The only group that voted en masses against the Civil rights movement were the southern democrats. As usual your silly liberal argrument bears no facts and are untrue. Learn history before citing it.
