PFT WEEK 17 PICKS (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/12/29/pfts-week-17-picks/related/)

Excerpt: "Itís here. The last week of the regular season. And I have even worse of a
chance to catch Rosenthal as the Jets do of making it to the playoffs.

But I canít give up now. With a two-game win in Week 16, the game is down to
seven games. We disagree on four this week. With a sweep, the 11 postseason
games could get interesting.</p>

Last week, I finished 10-6. Rosey was a pathetic 8-8. For the year, heís
159-81. Iím 152-88.</p>Cowboys at Giants<div class="post-body clearfix">

Florioís take: The 256th game of the 2011 regular season
also will be the first game of the 2011 postseason. Since I picked the Cowboys
to win the division way back in September, I canít abandon them now. Even if
logic and common sense points to the Giants finishing their unlikely late-season
climb to the postseason.</p>

Florioís pick: Cowboys 27, Giants 23.</p>

Rosenthalís take: They Giants are as dangerous as their pass
rush allows. It was great last week, with Justin Tuck (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/3286/justin-tuck)
finally looking healthy. Osi Umenyiora (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/975/osi-umenyiora)
returns this week. There is no figuring out this Giants team, but I took them to
win the NFC East before the year and canít give up now.</p>

Rosenthalís pick: Giants 24, Cowboys 21."</p>

Week: Week 1 Week 2 Week 3 Week 4 Week 5 Week 6 Week 8 Week 9 Week 10 Week 11 Week 12 Week 13 Week 14 Week 15 Week 16 Week 17Go
Name Position Injury Wed. Thu. Fri. Game Status
Ballard, Jake TE Knee DNP DNP - -
Bradshaw, Ahmad RB Foot DNP DNP - -
Herzlich, Mark LB Ankle DNP DNP - -
Manningham, Mario WR Knee LP LP - -
Nicks, Hakeem WR Hamstring DNP DNP - -
Umenyiora, Osi DE Ankle/Knee LP LP - -

If Manningham, Bradshaw, Nicks & Ballard can't go 100% it's going to be extrememly tough unless the D pitches a near shutout. No more than 10 points anyway.

With them out of line up don't expect much more than 14 points & that's with getting some turnovers.

Get well boys the Giants need every man on deck for this win.
