I would like to start off that I really do not mind how the draft has shaped up for us so far. Pugh could be a very good player but I do think that it was a bit of a reach. Hankins was a bit of a mystery to me with Taylor and Brown on the board but maybe the Giants really like some of the prospects in the later rounds for CB, LB etc.. and that there are few DT's that we could grab later in the draft to make an impact.

LB- Gerald Hodges, good strongside LB prospect who excels at coverage which would be great out of a LB.
LB- Khaseem Greene, local kid who could be very solid. Although we do not really have a need for a weakside LB..
LB- Keith Pough, compared to Michael Boley and can play strongside and weak side LB http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013/profiles/keith-pough?id=2539643
L (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013/profiles/keith-pough?id=2539643)B- Devonte Holloman, another strong side LB who compares to Chad Greenway http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013/profiles/devonte-holloman?id=2539941
L (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013/profiles/devonte-holloman?id=2539941)B- A.J Klein, MLB who is very under rated in pass coverage and is a real hard working kid who loves the game
__________________________________________________ ________________________________
CB- Jordan Poyer, play maker who would be a steal in the 4th!
CB- B.W Webb, I think the kid will be very solid, small school guy but has all the tools I think. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013/profiles/b.w.-webb?id=2539338
C (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013/profiles/b.w.-webb?id=2539338)B- Sanders Commings, I think he is extremely under rated. Who knows where he could go if Poyer is available in the 4th! http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013/profiles/sanders-commings?id=2539229
C (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013/profiles/sanders-commings?id=2539229)B- Melvin White, compared to Richard Sherman! He is 6'3 on most sites and loves to hit! http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013/profiles/melvin-white?id=2539251
_ (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013/profiles/melvin-white?id=2539251)_________________________________ ________________________________________________
S- Shamarko Thomas, I have been a fan of the kid since day one. He is another Cuse guy and he can really lay people out
S- Phillip Thomas, solid all around guy with a some injury history but he could be a nice pickup
S-Micah Hyde, good coverage skills, he is a former CB at Iowa but probably will be put at FS. He is good at going up and getting the ball in jump ball situations.

Well those are the main guys that I like on defense for day 3. There are obviously more guys like Red****, Tharold Simon, Rontez Miles, Rambo etc..

How did I forget Nico Johnson? haha.. I had Rambo at the end with some other players. I am quite surprised at all of the talent that is left in this draft. We could get some really good prospects on defense in the 4th and 5th hopefully!

I like Red**** better than some of the linebackers there. Just because I think he has better cover skills than some guys like Klein and Johnson. Otherwise my wishlist is very similar haha.

I think Klein is extremely under rated in pass coverage actually. I will post a video of him. He is actually sneaky fast as well too. He can tackle very well and take on blocks to make the play on runs.

R (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNEkNojKTlk)ed**** is nice at coverage though. Johnson is a 2 down LB IMO. He really is not great in coverage but he is good at run support. I would prefer Klein or Red**** over Johnson.

I was going to bring up Red**** as well. The big knock on him is effort, but that is something that can be corrected if he is willing.

If we do not grab Klein or Red**** I will be kind of disappointed bc that will most likely mean another yeae with a MLB who can't cover at all. Really could use a solid CB as well!

Trevardo Williams, Rambo, Alonzo TweedyI like Rambo but I like Shamarko better.. I heard we have interest in Tweedy. I don't know much about him, could you shed some light on the guy? Williams is nice too btw!

Tweedy may go undrafted. But he was probably the best ST player in the country (non-returner). He has safety size (6'1 200) and can run (sub 4.4). He played linebacker for VT. Don't think he's a defensive starter. But may develop into a sub package guy. My interest in him is mainly as a ST player.

And I know people love Shamarko's game, but I just can't see the giants taking a safety that is under 5'9. They like their prototype size DBs

Yeah sounds like he would be a great late round pickup/UDFA. It would have been nice if we traded back in the 1st and gained some extra picks because there is a lot of talent left in this draft.

Had they traded back, don't think they would have found a starting RT. Pugh would have gone 20th to the Bears

That probably is true but we could have taken Watson or Long if we really wanted to go OT route which is not a terrible downgrade at all and we gain picks later on. Idk I just hope JR can work his usual late round magic this year.

Watson has a long long way to go before he is ready to start.

And Long isn't as good a player as Pugh, and would have been taken by the cowboys anyway.

Or maybe we could have moved back a bit in the 2nd and gotten an extra mid/late rounder and still gotten a DT maybe Hankins would have fallen to us if we would have moved back. It is hard to tell but I am sure that we can get some solid talent with the remaining picks that we have. It is just frustrating seeing every year Belicheck move back and gain like 3-4 picks every single year it seems. San Fran has a ton of picks as well.

Devin Taylor is a upside guy I like, but doubt we'd go another DE....6'7 270 36 inch arms...been clocked in the 4.6's...decent against the run & if you watch his tape there's plenty of times that his pressures are a hair away from a sack...he only had 6.5 sacks but if he would've managed 10 in the SEC I think he would've been a 2nd round guy with his measurables....also was beastly at the east west game...

I just woke up... rough night last night but did I seriously just hear we drafted Nassib?! That is the most bizarre picks ever.
