For his height, he's very athletic.

obvious difference is the vertical. However the 3 inch height difference makes up for it. nice

Jerry Reese likes Cooper Taylor as a special steamer because of size & speed. Also envisions Taylor as 3rd S in 3-safety look #nyg

10 lbs of muscle and this guy can be a LB. I like this pick.

He is a nice player and good pick for the round but comparing a decent player on Richmond vs defensive star at LSU based on the underwear olympics is really silly. Reid and Vaccarro are the only two safeties this year that are true center fielders which is probably the most important trait a FS can have.

Im not worried about his speed. As a freshman at G-Tech he was running 4.3 at 185 lbs. Not as fast now with the extra weight but the dude can still fly.

You think Vaccaro is deep post center? Cyprien is much better in this regard.

I'll take 5

So what happens to Tyler Sash? He'll either play better or get cut!

I think Sash has been on the fringe for a bit now anyways and is one of those guys that will be gone if an upgrade is found. That being said, I think Taylor will end up being that guy that can fit in as the hybrid linebacker/safety that Rolle has been used as. Not an every down guy, just for certain packages. Nowadays everyone is a specialist.

A couple of things probably put him low in teams' minds....his Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome(high heart rate, syncope, shortness of breath, etc.) and he came from a small school after transfering from Georgia Tech. Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome is usually treated by cardioversion(or shocking the heart into beating in a certain rythym)...actually looking at cardioversions right now at work coincidentally.

Nice quick read on the guy:

Interesting skill set, can handle covering TEs, something that we have been known to have trouble with. Can anyone say three safety set? Kid has the speed to help out with some of these mobile QBs, like the pick!

You think Vaccaro is deep post center? Cyprien is much better in this regard.Vaccaro didnt play Centerfield really. I didnt see a break down but I would guess he had most of his snaps as a slot corner. It actually frustrated me while going through his games that he didnt have asnaps back there
