The Giants rarely make the playoffs so it isn't too surprising.

The division is in a strange place at the moment.

I want to be in last place+1....only way this team performs, when they have somethign to prove. The minute we prove it and get the respect we deserve, we start slacking.

We should begin a bit earlier with the come-back AFTER the slacking.

Typical Yard Barking Trash, the Atlantis is in Reno, Nevada not Las Vegas... Ok everyone, you can breath a sigh of relief! Vegas always favors the Cowboys...

I would put the 'skins as the favorite. They're a solid team with an excellent QB who I highly doubt will be taking a sophomore-season step backwards.

The Giants? I don't know what they are, and their D has the potential to be God-awful.

The Eagles could surprise people.

The Cowboys aren't even worth mentioning.

i think this is good. these guys should be confident. i think we lacked that last year during the rough patches. besides, we have a 3rd place schedule so we should win the East.

And, i read a comment how we rarely make the playoffs...short term memory? We went, what, 5 straight years making the playoffs before this 3 of 4 yrs outta the playoffs? we still havent had a losing record, and didnt make the playoffs with 10 wins once, and 9 wins twice iirc...

The division is in a strange place at the moment.

Since 2000 and including 2000, the Gmen have made the playoffs 7 out of 13 years, better than 50%. That is not "rarely". Of course, it is only one out of the last four years so maybe that is what this poster is referring to. However, that was a SB year. Most teams around the league would take 25% and a SB in 4 years and be very happy. Are we spoiled by success?

In more recent history they have struggled to make the post season. They did in 2007 and 2008 but did not return until 2011 and missed last year. While its not the worst record, its not like you can say they have been consistent.

It just seems to be all or nothing of late - the "nothing" being the most likely.

I'm not complaining, I just find it just strange.

It''s not like you can say they RARELY make the playoffs which was the point of my post.

Poor word selection, but three years between drinks is pretty long time.

I picked the Ravens beating Packers before last year started.
