You disagree? Eli didn't have a good season.

JPP didn't exactly light it up in 2013 either.

You mean 2012? This is a prediction, not an after-the-fact ranking

We can write up the entire team the same way - "didn't play as well as expected".

I still have no idea why the Jets released weatherford... he's an awesome punter and an awesome guy too...

It is an after-the-fact ranking, though. It's a writer's opinion on the best players in the league as of right now. 2012 obviously contributes to that.

I can only read what the writer wrote:

"This list isn't one that grades the players just on how they played last year, or their popularity, but on where they rank heading into 2013," Prisco writes. Kind of like contract negotiations that take into account what has happened and what is likely to happen. A happy combination of the known and unknown.

That quote right there backs up what I said.

The Jets special teams coach is kind of a tool.

Stevie Brown should have made the list. The impact he made in the limited time he played was phenomenal. He should at least been in the 90's IMO. Unfortunately half the league doesn't know who he is.

Stevie was great on interceptions, but was out of position a lot in 2012. He can improve for sure.

Yeah I agree he could improve but impact alone should have gotten him on the list. I mean how many DB's in the league were involved in 11 takeaways with over 300 return yards (or something like that) in 11 games started? Also finished 2nd in the league in INT's?

Guys like John Kuhn and Tim Tebow made the list last year.....Stevie was certainly more impactful than those guys.
