I would have called it a prediction not a ranking.

In the article they said Pugh was drafted as a "tackle/center" but I seem to remember the only mentiion of Pugh at center was that Flaherty "thought" he might be able to play center. He has played both guard and tackle.

Beatty-Pugh-Bass-Boothe-Brewer.

Doesn't look too bad to me.Snee doesn't enter into this at all? I seriously doubt he loses his spot yet.....My guess would be Beatty-Boothe-bass-Snee-Pugh

no Snee?

That doesn't sound right without Snee. Also Pugh was reported to be playing at RT in minicamp

honestly, I would be very surprised if Pugh is at LG... makes me question the whole article

Ya I probably agree Snee will start, but would like to give Boothe a shot at a steady position.

If Pugh takes RT, what is Brewers future? Lifetime backup?

If Pugh takes RT, what is Brewers future? Lifetime backup?Boothe is signed to a 1 yr deal and Snee is getting to the end...This line is going to have some changes in next few years....collect good young athletes and may the better man win

Seems a little high. They pass block very well Eli wasn't hit that much last year. Run blocking is where this unit struggled last year, their run blocking was not even top 10 last year.

Eli's quick release limits the number of hits he takes. The Giants actually had an ok run game last season.

What has Brewer earned? He was a project left tackle that still hasn't shown much.

Eli improved greatly in his quick release and pocket presence through the last two seasons. Getting Wilson and Brown allowed our running game to flourish (both of them wait for the hole to develop and burst through rather than trying to force it like Bradshaw), which made it easier on the OL. Overall, the OL tanked hard since 2010. Diehl is a shell of the player he once was. Boothe stayed about the same, while Baas regressed, and Snee was hampered by injury. Only OL position that improved was LT. I think Boothe can step up his game (maybe even Baas too, but I don't hold up hope). Pugh should be an INSTANT improvement over Diehl if these minicamp reports are indicative of his actual playing ability...

I saw that article as well and didn't take any stock in it. I really don't think Pugh is big enough right now to play guard in this league and I will be interested to see what he is able to do in the run game at RT as he is small for that position as well. Smeelk made a similar observation as well. I've never been impressed with Baas at center and can't see an OL without Snee (unless he is injured).

Pugh would have to hike the ball from about a half a foot off the ground due to his short arms
