Since the rumors are that Victor Cruz will be signed to a long term deal soon, does anyone have any predictions.

Not annual income either.

1. Number of years
2. Total amount of contract
3. Guaranteed money

My prediction in 5 years, $36 MM $16MM guaranteed.

I'll hate it....but that's my prediction.

That's what I've been saying all along except I've reduced my guarantee from $20M. My stand is $8.5 regardless of the term which I hope is 5 years.

The winner gets a free weekend in Westfield, MA and the honor of mowing my lawn.

So that should offer sufficient incentive.

1) 4 years
2) $35MM
3) $20MM guaranteed

Most of it backloaded to be cap friendly in years 3 and 4.

On a side note, it's awesome to see Morehead come through the grieving process to the point of acceptance.

That sounds about right because that's pretty much the offer the Giants FO already had on the table! I doubt they altered it much, if at all once he tossed his leverage in the crapper by blinking first and signing his 2.8 million tender.
I do agree that he 's not worth the money he's signing for!

Opinion or wish?

Your number seems to be around 7.2 million a year.

Are we not at least reasonably sure that the last offer was near 8 million a year?

I do NOT think we will be paying him $8MM/yr.
I suppose its possible to have a back loaded deal that looks like it averages that much, but if we did that deal will never go to the end.

Wait...when I say 8mil I mean the fat number, not the actual number.

Something like 4 for 36 - closer to nine in imaginary money.

Are you saying closer to 7.2 in imaginary money?
