Feel bad for Spags- he is a great motivator and defensive coach- but in St Louis- he needed an owner committed to him for a 4 year plan at least. I hope he does not go to the Egulls as if anyone can right the defensive ship there it would be him. I still say bring him in and groom him as the next heir to TC. Even if they decide to keep PF as DC- he could be "Defensive Quality Control Coach" and be ready to step in when TC retires. It means extra money now but secures us a great motivator and D Coach for the future.

sucks for him.
Hope the Giants can offer him something and win him back.
Hope he harbors resentment and hatred for the scumbags down the Turnpike.
failing that hopes he lands on his feet in the AFC rather than NFC.

Maybe Asst. Head Coach is a new title the Giants could make for him?
I would love to see him come back and help our D.

the Eagles still have a DC at the moment. They also still have Jim Washburn, who they hired BEFORE Castillo and who's defensive scheme the team uses.
If Philly gets rid of, or demotes, Castillo and keeps Washburn it will be tough for them to get Spagnulo back. Eagles had a hard time finding a DC prior to last season because Washburn and the 'wide 9' was in place already.
Spags will have his choice of a few coordinatior jobs and maybe even a HC spot. I'm sure he'd want to pick his own staff and run the type of defensive scheme he prefers.

I hope you're right.
