This news comes on the heels of both players being named to the 2011 PFF All-Pro Second Team (http://www.giants101.com/2012/01/06/new-york-giants-victor-cruz-jason-pierre-paul-named-to-2011-pff-all-pro-second-team/), which is,
admittedly, not nearly as prestigious as the Associated Press All-Pro Team.</p>

Congratulation to the both of them! These honors are well deserved."</p>

awesome! i have been waiting for this. he deserves it. the pro bowl is nice and all, but the AP all-pro team is a HUGE honor. the giants have had FOUR different defensive ends be named first team AP all-pro since 2003. wonder if that has ever been done before.

Wow. That is incredible. I love JPP, he is such a good ****ing player and he deserves this award.

AP first team is an incredible award. Props to Cruz too, he should have been first team, second team doesn't have that prestige to it, but Cruz was certainly deserving of first team.

And congrats to Jerry Reese for another gem draft pick for having the stones to follow his instincts and bringing JPP to NY.
