WTF? the ball was a bad spot to start with.
Why didnt TC ask for a measurment??
Then call a better play!

complete confusion on the play. It looks like the Giants thought they had a first down.

Just seen the replay. Jimmy Johnson said it was a bad spot. And you can see Nicks caught the ball across the yellow 1st down line, and was driven back. TC should have challenged the spot. It was easily a 1st down!
Would have been huge to score there. We had ATL on their heels!
Now they get the ball to open the 3rd quarter!

It was under 2 minutes, Eli hurried to get the next play off to save time because he and everyone else saw that Nicks clearly had the first by almost 2 yards.

Can't challenge in the last 2 minutes, but you can sure ask for a spot. This offense always throws for 15-75 yards on short downs and runs for 0 gain to -5 yards on long downs. It is as if the coaching staff has never seen live action football before. Its kind of like Madden football played by old people.

Then at the very least ask for a damn measurment. Then call an approtriate play for 3rd and inches!!

And If they measure and we don't get it we could have challenged it too it was a really bad spot
