If it weren't for the existence of Eric Berry, people would be talking about how Earl Thomas is the next Troy Polamalu instead of Berry being the next Ed Reed. This guy is right in the article, he really wraps up when he tackles.

I say we sign Dansby, draft Thomas, and then draft best available DT in round 2. Also with Phillips most likely coming back, him and thomas can be a dangerous safety tandem for the next 10 years. If we do this, we should be back to our elite top 5 defense!!!

A guy who is projected to go in the 1st is underrated? This writer is a moron.

Agree, or flip flopping the positions would be fine as well

Alright lets just say he isn't talked about enough then. He is in the shadows of eric berry because he is once in a decade talent... but thomas really can be the next polamalu. I know its too early to make comparisons but you never know

I don't see him as underrated. I do however, see his tackling and run support abilities to be underrated.

Polamalu is an animal......Get Thomas on steroids and i think you'd see a very similar player (Would not be too unheard of in this day and age of sports)

Sorry slip he is a little overrated. He can only hit. With receivers like miles austin, deshaun jackson and even santana moss, we need a safety that can keep up and cover them. Mays just delivers awesome hits

How could you possibly not see this post, which is pinned rather prominently right on top of TAGF?
