I agree about Sanders being the best all time. But, had ****erson spent his entire career with the Rams. I bet he would have hit 20,000 yards no problem. Payton is the 2nd best. 3rd best Emmitt Smith.

Emmitt Smith is #3, Barry Sanders number 2, Jim Brown is number 1

he didn't have cutbacks but oh, boy could he bring it !!!

as for the "U" ?

hmmm, Frank Gore is all beast based on his NFL body of work, followed by McGahee IMO

As I've said before, the only way to compare athletes of different eras is to compare them to their peers. E.g., Babe Ruth was hitting more homers than whole teams when he was playing early on. Jim Brown was gaining 1000 yds. per year when no one else was (except Jim Taylor one year). Also, if you look at the Browns' passing attack, during Brown's early years, it wasn't very good. So, if the Browns wanted to score, they gave the ball to Jim and he rolled EXCEPT when he faced the Gmen, and that's because of Landry's 4/3.
