Jpp got put on the spot, and any way he should be right to say we win hes not gonna answer the question with a "I think it will be a good game but I see us losing in the end." Also rolle said green bay will see a different team then last time, I like when players talk about there own team leading up to a game.

What I don't like is when a player like bj raji says o-line isint the toughest hes played, you can keep that to your self. But I do respect that he gave credit to Jacobs and Cruz.

I didn't see anything wrong in what he said. Nothing wrong with being confident. We could use ten more like him

I don't think they have talked to much at all.

JPP was asked several questions, and answered them all. The reporter asked him if they will win. How else was he supposed to respond?

"i'm very confident in my abilities and my teams abilities and can see many ways of us Going there and winning" instead of the media hype "100% were going to win" (I don't mind he said it , I personally just don't like guarantees cause nothing is guaranteed

As far as trash talking though, really only Raji has said anything from what I seen and he just called our O-line soft(which hopefully makes them play better this Sunday)

also said our TEs are not Elite in the NFL and they are not to worried about them and that we wont get any help from the TE position..

LOL. Well I know we dont have TEs like NEs Grunkowski, NO Graham or GB finley...However they are a pretty solid group...Ballard has been a pleasant surprise for us this season and can only get better, Beckum has come on lately and has made some big catches to keep drives going and even Pascoe got a huge first down when we were pinned near the goal line and had to have when when he jumped over a dallas defender on his way past the stickes prior to Cruz's Long TD

Also if he remembers correctly Ballard had a TD that wasnt when his knee clearly came down inbounds. That play would have beat the Packers. I dont see them gettting a tieing TD in 58seconds.. possible but i dont think so.

Anyway i hope Ballard and Beckum KILL them this weekend

I don't blame JPP for what he said. How else was he suppossed to respond. He watered down his reply later in the week, not guaranteeing a win...didn't he?

Our receivers have said this week that they are going to torch the GB Secondary. I have no problem with that and I believe it will truly happen as well.

Yes -- but I'm old school. I don't like any trash talk at all before the game. Just go out and play.

Yes -- but I'm old school.* I don't like any trash talk at all before the game.* Just go out and play.I used to think that way, don't give the enemy any indication whatsoever of anything. These players are a much younger generation....if there were not nfl regs prohibiting the players talking facebook smack...I'm sure there would be posting frenzies. lol.

Well, BJ Raji has evened things upa bit for the Packers now that he dissed our O-Line and tight ends. All of it is for the media and the fans. Once the players step out on the field, it doesn't have any effect on the game I don't think

i don't think anyone's said anything wrong, but i honestly want everyone to zip it don't give gb or the media any ammunition- go out and put it all on the field. Thats what Coughlin preaches to shut up and play, and i want our guys to stick to that.

Really? You really expect sub10 wonderlic scores to make a statement such as that, especially in the moment of a huge playoff win?

He makes a guarantee that reflects their mindset. Great. If they go with that mindset and come up short, this is still forgotten come next season.

They've been yappin since before the jets game and we keep winning... I'd prefer they shut it and play but if they have to talk to convince themselves to win... Keep talking' lol

I don't necessarily think so. Somewhat related, i might be the only one, but it does bother me that the media is hyping us up a bit too much.

We have a good chance to beat them, but only when we're clicking on all cylinders. The offense was awesome that day. Hopefully, both sides show up and play a solid 4 quarters. That hasn't happened all season.

correct me if i'm wrong, but you simply asked "how else was he suppose to respond" and I simply gave you an answer on another way he could have possibly responded.

To answer your next question, NO. I don't expect Jpp to answer the exact way i typed. I would simply prefer he said something similar, but of course in his own words.

no body has anything that should be considered trash talk at all. Not what JPP said or Raji.

Another poster said Raji called the Giants Oline "soft". He said exactly the opposite. He said: "I 'wouldn't' call them soft".....you people are worse then they media. He went on to say they aren't the "toughest" oline he has faced. Not a big deal at all because they aren't the toughest or best oline in the league at all.

The players for the most part have been respectful of the opposing team's talent level and capability.
