Hi all,

I've been creating a Giants drinking game each week throughout the season that has gotten very popular at several bars in Manhattan. It's customized for the opponent each week so there are different clauses each week. Figured some of you guys may enjoy this as well while watching, so I am posting this here.

1/15/12 – Giants at Packers: Go Big Blue!!!

Sip of beer:
• Any penalty on the Packers
• Any first down run by the Giants
• Cheese in a commercial
• Either QB out of the pocket
• Any fight or skirmish between the two teams
• Tom Coughlin yelling (at referee or player)
• Any shot showing the temperature or referencing the weather
• Aaron Rodgers on the ground

Quarter of a beer:
• Any Aaron Rodgers or Eli Manning commercial
• Any highlight from the last Giants playoff game at Lambeau
• Any on-field measurement by the refs
• Any play where B.J. Raji or Travis Beckum touch the ball
• Any reference to Brett Favre
• Any Giants player successfully hurdling or “trucking” a defender

Chug Beer:
• Any 50+ yards offensive play by the Giants
• Missed FG by the Packers
• If any Giants player does the Aaron Rodgers championship belt move
• Any safety

Take a Shot:
• Any Giants return for a TD (fumble, INT, punt, or kickoff)
• Any girl wearing a former Giants player’s jersey (shot for us and girl)

what about spotting a Giants fan with a Victor Cruz jersey at the stadium?

We're all use to seeing Eli, Strahan, Barber etc... jerseys

I rather enjoy the game and remember it. Only way I would drink if it was a blow out either way, and even then i prob wouldn't. I rather enjoy watching the game sober.

Never understood why ppl drank during sporting events. Figured if it was Opera, musical, going shopping with the significant other or a doctors visit you would prefer to be that way.

BTW I think this is the 1st time i requited myself to make a reply... Not sure how I should feel about this.

With those rules I'll be sloppy drunk by the 2nd quarter.

How about you add take a shot after you feel you've been screwed by the refs. Everyone would be drunk by half time.

Good one! You need to add delay of game by Eli, keep it to a quarter of a beer.

I watched the 2007 Superbowl with my family and was feeling pretty sad (dad passing few months earlier) and Dad and I used to watch the games and comment on Aikmen and Buck always saying, "No Question, and Heck of a play" so I vowed to take a shot of Absolute every time they said that during the SB. Needless to say there is a pic of me in the 3rd quarter laying down in the lazy boy holding on. It's a good thing too because it was a rough game for the nerves.

I wouldn't think there would be all that many since to get one you have to have it specially made. Customize.
