Jerry Reese !!! Do not let Osi walk after this season. He is a valuable member of this Giants Team. We are in the midst of a MAJOR playoff run, but we need to think about next year's team too. We need to keep our guys. This team could be awesome next season. </P>

Pass rush specialists that make plays like Osi get paid $15mil a year just ask freeney, allen, cjohnson, and dware, oh by the way they don't come off the bench, giants have an abundance of luxuries with Osi, too bad he's the only one besides JPP that can make plays like that.

To be on the safe side, they should consider drafting another talented defensive end.

He's not worth it but he is.

He made some big plays again today. Have to pay for that.

What to do?

Was JPP doubled on every play? Didn't see much of him today.

osi set a record for forced fumbles last season. this guy just makes game changing plays. an elite pass rush is a requirement in today's nfl. pay the man shirley!

Was JPP doubled on every play? Didn't see much of him today. He was being held constantly. JPP isn't one to complain, I've never seen him throw his hands in the air asking for flags, but today he did. He was getting MUGGED constantly and the line judge called NOTHING. It's despicable.

I remember him missing a ton of games again this yr and next yr he'll be again a yr older.. I would just rather enjoy this playoff run of Osi's and be smart and thankful he got his value back up and go get something for Osi before hes hurt again next yr and possibly missed most of the season.. He looks good right now use that to our advantage and go get that 2nd and 4th or 5th for him

Osi is good, but we need cap room. D line is our strongest spot on the depth chart. They need to make some tough decisions.

He wants top 5 DE money (around $14m) and (a) he's not a top 5 DE, (b) the team is already up against the cap, (c) Tuck is playing on a bargain contract and not complaining about it, (d) JPP is going to warrant all-pro money, (e) Osi's a situational player at the end of his career while the other two guys are younger and better all around players, (f) are you letting Mario Manningham and T2 go to pay for Osi? Oh and (g) he pissed off Jerry Reese with his training camp holdout and played every single hand he had and lost.

Osi's pumping up his trade value. No way he's here next year.

Why does everyone talk as if he's a free agent after this season??

He's got a contract which he can honor. . .or retire.

What makes this offseason different from last?

You understand if they play out his current contract, he walks and the Giants get nothing, right? Plus it will be another year of dogging it and pouting mixed in with his sometimes spectacular play.

It could happen but I doubt the Giants will let him go without getting something for him. Remember Shockey?

Yes, I remember Shockey. We got Clint Sintim for him. Your point being ?

Osi is signed for next year. Let him whine if he wants, it hasn't affected the team. How many more years left does he have playing at this level ? I say one, then let him walk.
