Simms is awesome at pre-game analysis. You might have thought he was simply going for the Giants out of team loyalty, like Strahan joked prior to the game, but he wasn't. A few hours before kickoff, he said that he thought the Giants would win, and that he thought the Giants were the MORE TALENTED TEAM. I actually don't remember the whole conversation and I'm not even 100% sure he said the Giants would win. But once I heard him say the Giants were more talented, I kind of got stuck on those few words. I hadn't heard anyone say that before. I had heard, "on a roll", and "peaking" over and over. According to Phil we had every right to be confident, and it had nothing to do with intangibles. Anyway, great job Phil.
