I know we are going into a huge game and none of you are focused on the off-season but i couldn't help myself.
<div class="report">Derrick Ward rushed for 50 yards on 12 carries in the Texans' Week 17 loss to Tennessee.</div> <div class="impact">Ward
closes out the year with 45 carries, 154 yards, and two touchdowns,
averaging a meager 3.4 yards per rushing attempt. He didn't catch a
pass all year. Ward is going on age 32 and is not under contract for
2012. The Texans may bring him back as their third-string runner for
the veteran's minimum, but Ward is not going to attract much league-wide
interest with declining skills. <span class="date">Jan 1 - 8:17 PM
</span></div>If we could get him for REALLY cheap i think he would make a solid 3rd string back. Sure we have ware but who knows what will happen, especially with jacobs (ware is 26, ward is 31).
probably a big no but it's a cool thought because of the memories earth, wind, and fire gave us.
