Outside of Peyton having the best numbers this game has ever seen, here is how Eli stacks up against some of the games other elites in their 1st 8 seasons. The thing to remember is that he has had his best 3 statistical seasons the for the past 3 years and seems to be getting better and better every year. With his precision and accuracy who knows what his limitations could be this year and for many years to come as Eli has blossomed into a QB that will continue to succeed throughout his prime years as an NFL elite QB.

Today's QBs

Peyton Manning-- 37893 YDS, 280TD, 125INT, 138 Sacked, 1 Ring

Tom Brady-- 26,370 YDS, 197TD, 86INT, 203 Sacked, 3 Rings

Drew Brees-- 26,258 YDS, 168TD, 99INT, 139 Sacked, 1 Ring

Ben Roethlisberger-- 26,574 YDS, 165TD, 100INT, 314 Sacked, 2 Rings

I'm pretty sure Peyton Manning didn't win a Super Bowl until his 9th year.

It's the Ws and the Rings that matter.

The stats don't really mean jack as the Saints just found out. LOL!

On 2nd glance those statistic are not even right.

Peyton did not average 4737 yards per season his 1st 8 seasons.

37893/8= 4736.63

I calculated 33189 yards for Peyton's 1st 8 seasons. I don't feel like "checking" all of the other numbers that you posted, so I will just dismiss your post as irrelevant.

Didn't someone post this exact same thread a few days ago...wouldn't it be more efficient to add to the other thread rather than start a new one?

AHAHA Eli's TD-IINT numbers are way off too just by looking at them. He has 185 TDs and 129 ints according to NFL.com. I guarantee 90% of those numbers that you posted are wrong. Don't worry I made an idiotic post just a few minutes ago too. Don't worry about it. It happens to all of us. Sometimes its good to just stop trying to make points and enjoy the win. :)

OH WAIT is this ELI's 8th or 9th year? Maybe you left off those #s on purpose.
