There was a Thread not to long ago how the Giants over the course of number years have a Knack for beating teams with no losses during year or (or SB lol) a long streak with 1 to 3 losses. I dont have a list or remember who they all were but maybe someone on here can create a list of them. May have been some of the good 49er teams but for sure i know that we beat

18-0 Pats

15-1 GB

Thats teams with combinded 33-1 records both losing to the Giants

List some of the others here..........

AVENGE!!

I love this team

One of my favorite seasons ever, 9-7 team went up and down all season, gave mea heart attack about every game, yet we are in the NFC championship, even if we lose Sunday, this season was AWESOME!

We knocked off Denver when they were like 10-0 some years ago.

Nope. We played them that year and beat them 19-16 but they were 9-2 when we played. So we beat them twice that season. SO there goes the Pats Logic if they play us again. Already been there and done that in case we meet in SB. Beat em during year beat em in SB just like 86 with Denver.

Keep checkin on that 10-0 broncos team

the broncos were 13-0 when we beat them. danny kanell threw a long td pass in the endzone to toomer to win it. 1998.

Heres something i copied from 98 season..

After losing in the first round to the Vikings (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1997_Minnesota_Vikings_season) in 1997, the Giants (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1998_New_York_Giants_season) needed to close out the season with four wins to finish 88 in 1998 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1998_NFL_season). One of the bright spots of that season was a win over the Denver Broncos in week 15, giving the Broncos their first loss of the season after starting 130.

So it looks like an 8-7 Giants team knocked off a 13-0 team in 1998..

still have not found the 10-0 one

I think what he may be referring to is when we and niners were both 10-0 in 1990. We both played and lost in week 11 making us both 10-1 because we were both looking ahead.

they beat us in that game 7-3 but we got to avenge that loss in NFCCG and stop their 3peat attempt in a 15-13 nail biter.

One thing I will say, is that the Giants have a history of beating great teams when getting to their championships.

In 2007 we beat an 18-0 Pats that had won 3 SB's in the same decade.

In 1990 we beat a Bills team that went to 4 straight SBs.

In 1986 we beata Broncos team that would appear in 5 SBs' over the next 13 years.

Basically, you look at the list of teams we've beaten for our titles, none of them were against "one and done" teams or teams that basically only had that one failed title run.
