great! i really like Hercules. He honestly seems like he's the most professional ref out there. I know he did make a really bad call a few years ago (for which he apologized) but there is nothing to worry about there.

Excellent. Besides one blunder in San Diego (which was a pretty bad blunder) he has been great.

Exactly, fortunately we don't get Winter who by the looks of him should be ready for retirement.

he totally jacked up a Denver game a few years back, but as part timer refs go, he is one of the better ones

The fact that he made a mistake and that he admitted it publicly without trying to hide behind the NFL office's "official explanation" make is one of the most honest refs. But that was just one call. What we saw in GB was a travesty.

Anyone remember Ben Dreith from the 80s? He was hilarious!!

"PERONSAL FOUL UNNECESSARY ROUGHESS NUMER 53 DEFENSE THATS 15 YARDS, AND THATS A FIRST DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Or "Unsportsmanlike conduct Defense, for GIVIN EM THE BUSINESS". LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else feel that its a sad state of affairs when instead of game planning for the team we're facing, we now have to scout out the officiating crew that we have? :P

I was thinking the same thing, but after the last few weeks of calls against the GMEN it was bound to be a hot topic on the forum this week.

He have any that bad of a game? One bad game, he blew and obvious call I think 2 years ago, or beginning of last year.

It manned up to it, but besides that speed bump I always thought he was good.

And that call was an honest mistake.. and he knew he made it after he called it and owned up to it immediately. He is a great ref

Yet we have never seen others publicly being scorned for there errors. Would like to see Levy be held accountable.

Everyone can make a mistake. He made 1 in all the years we can remember, while what we have seen this year, or the last 3/4 out of 5 games the giants have played, we really couldn't ask for better.

If we see bad calls again this week or really favored to one side, then we know the guys got to the NFL Refs finally.

Ed had some really bad calls two years ago. Other then that his crews have always been fairly top of the heap.
