With the Eagles beating the Cowboys this past weekend, many pundits seem to think they will eventually overtake the Gmen for the division title. Obviously, only the pats game this Sunday really matters right now, but let's look ahead for a moment:

With a 2 game lead in the division, we have some breathing room, but that could dissapear quickly if we go on a losing streak and finish the season 9-7 or worse. However, even if we go only 5-4 over the remaining games and finish 10-6 (very doable imo), the other teams in our division will need to go at least 7-2 to match our record. If one of those 5 wins is against Philly, they would have to win every other game (8-1 over the remaining games) to take the division. A win @ Dallas in week 14, may put the division on the line in week 17 when Dallas comes to NY.

One game that most of us seem to have put in the loss column, even before the season started, is week 13 vs GB. However, a recent article on ESPN on how GB is overrated says we shouldn't be so quick to put that "L" up:

the team most likely to end Green Bay's unbeaten season comes one week
later, in Week 13. This team has one of the best pass rushes in the
game. It ranks eighth in DVOA against the run. Its passing game ranks
third in the league with 7.9 net yards per pass. And it gets the Packers
in its home stadium. Mark your calendars for the day the Packers will
likely lose their first (and possibly only) game of 2011: Dec. 4 at the New York Giants.

If we lose to Green Bay (like most of us expect), our only hope to make the Playoffs will be to win out the final 4 games.
