All of the talk about the Niner's Defense being so dominating is nothing but media hype driven by the talking head and sports journalists. Regular season stats in the post season do not reflect the reality of Sunday's game.

The fact of the matter is the Giants have held two of the most productive (30+ pts) NFL offenses to 22 points or 11 pts /game while the Niners have, as the talking head posture it, bent but not broke to the effect of 32 points? Plz..

When the rubber hits the road Sunday night we will see this marketing ploy fall a part.

The miners played the best offense in the league last week. Doesn't mean a thing. We still got to go out there and perform the way were supposed to perform.

The Saints are the best offense in the league in their dome, but there is a noticeable drop off when they play away from New Orleans. It's been well documented all season.

The Falcons aren't great away from their dome either, but the Packers were great at home this year, we just beat them down.

Lets not forget, the Packers wouldn't have even had a TD if it wasn't for a gift no fumble call and a gift roughing the passer call.

Our defense if it keeps up like this looks like a top 5 defense than a bottom 5 defense. Lets hope they can maintain this momentum and play.

the Packers were the best offense in the league. now while it might look like the saints running is way better than the packers. its not that much, they just use sproles as an extra receiver option out of the backfield keeping the defense honest and spread out and then running when they have the right looks on defense. to be honest take sproles out of the equation and its a mirrored offense between the two, just siants receivers rarely drop balls. they really missed ingram, i think the outcome would have been different if ingram was playing.

also that 22 points is over 2 games as supposed to 32 in one game. for a prolific defense they got light the **** up.

Short passes to hynoski/ Bradshaw.

Screens to bradshaw or backfield seam routes to jacobs.

keep the defense guessing wether were running or not and stuff it down their throats when its time.

Air it out on play action

GAME!

Corrected for horrible officiating, the Giants' Defense has given up 34 points total (7.75 per game) since their personal playoffs began week 16 against the Jets (14, 14, 0, 6), and that's against 3 of the best offenses in the league.

glad you are not coaching the Giants. They would get their asses kicked.

How do yuo underestimate a #1 D in the league??

They have the most takeways and the offense has the least giveaways...

They hit harder than any other D the Giants have faced and have a 4 starters going to the pro bowl + 3 alternates.

The Giants will have to fight for every yard...

Um 20 Points.

The Falcons scored on safety.

If you take away the points the refs scored the Giants have held two layoff opponents to 6 points.

We played the 3rd best offense last week and held them to 20 points.

And the refs gave them 14 of those points.

The Whiners seriously crash to earth this Sunday.

Giant defense has only allowed 6 total points in 2 playoff games so far.
