Took the Giants @ 50-1 with a 20 stake at season start and these two were

GB 7-1
NO 10-1

Giants are now 80-1 .... and the Cowboys 14-1 over here in the UK. How on earth do the bookies come up with such a huge gap in odds between 2 pretty equal teams ???

Sweeping a division rival that is playing light years better than you is a GIGANTIC task. That would be my guess for the huge gap in odds.

Cowboys are 14-1 just because there in the playoffs in the eyes of the oddsmakers. There odds probably wont get much better. Whats the Packers 1-1

because we are 3-7 vs winning teams in the last 2 years.

Because we have been outscored by an average of 10 points vs winning teams in the last 2 years.

Because we average over 3 turnovers per game vs winning teams in the last 2 years.

Because since the NFL decided to change the way schedules are done. Putting Conference games late in the season, we have been a non factor.

Because the Cowboys have coaches that seem to get the most out of his players late in the year. TC's win loss record with the Giants late in the season is horrendous.

There ya go...

Most of those are accurate except for...

"Because the Cowboys have coaches that seem to get the most out of his players late in the year."

Their coaches don't have history of that. In fact, they don't a history of anything with this being their first year. Actually, the Cowboys have recent history of melting down at the worst possible moments

Light years better? Cowboys have scraped by a lot of teams this year. We may be playing worse but Cowboys are really nothing special.

NFCE really is a steaming pile of **** this year.

Have you watched the last two Giants games? 80-1 is kind. Cowboys are way too high. They are not a good team. </P>

The bookies are the experts & their smart money predictions make the odds.

They are hardly ever wrong with the exception being the 2007 year when they had the Giants 40-1 vs Pats 4-1. Can't pick um all right can ya. Doubt that will ever happen again in my lifetime anyway. Born 1941 -

i got them at 100-1 when we were 0 and 2 that year. sweet payoff from the bookies

"Light years" better? The Cowboys beat two teams with a combined 6-13 record (Miami and Washington, at the time Dallas played them) by a combined total of only four points.

I don't know maybe because one is making the payoffs . The other started their annual vacation after game 8 .

GMen at 80 to 1 makes sense to me

Dallas at 14 to 1 is a shock, and says a ton about Dallas fans--they are willing to bet in significant numbers/amounts. It's the money that skews the odds down.

I guess Dallas fans are emotional bettors.

Really? How has Garret done late in the year since taking over? Your confusing the past coaches with the present. Garret turned that team around nicely last year.

Just got back from one of the local Station casinos in Vegas and the current line was 18-1 cowboys and 25-1 giants. 25-1 on the Giants? wow VG, thats poor odds..."ladbrookes.com" here in the UK are offering 80-1 mate. i got 20 on em at 50-1 at the start of the year...im tempted to sneak another 5 to 10 on em at 80-1. Ya never know what can happen...i mean if we win 2 straight can you imagine how quickly those odds will change. I wouldnt lump big money on the GMEN...but i bet theres some gamblers out there doing that right now mate.

PS - im sooo jealous you live in vegas...i would give my right arm to live there...still waiting on my 6 lotto numbers to come in and when they do...VEGAS HERE I COME !! lol
