Is it just me or is Jim Harbaugha sore losing jerk?Did anyone notice his demeanor at midfield when he approached Tom Coughlin following the game? He didn't even look him in the eye and his"hand shake" was almost non existent. He also declined a "post game" interview with FOX sports. I personnally thinkhe's a jerk and I hope he enjoys eating the "humblepie" the Giants served him yesterday!

You're EXACTLY right! He's a poor loser. Everything's great for him when they win, but boy he just can't seem to take it when they lose. I've noticed it all along and it may work against him in the future. NOBODY likes a sore loser - man up and give credit to the "other guys".

The guy was nothing but respectful before the game and leading up to it.Harbaugh is a fierce competitor and a very good coach is a jerk from another teams fans prospective ,yes. He did a lot with a roster that has 1 weapon on offense. That team will have another chance. The Giants better get some Olineman in here. I never want to see Eli take a beating like that ever again

Hey......until posters on this message board can stop acting like the sky is falling after every bad loss during the season, and we can cease and desist with wanting the entire team fired, benched or traded after said bad loss, then and only then can we act morally superior...... and call out an opponent for being a sore loser!
You ever hear a TC post game press conference after a bad loss? He's openly hostile with the media and spits his answers out!

Of course he was in a dour mood. He could be the best coach in the NFL today but he made a major mistake and that ended up costing us the game.

He has been great designing strategies around players' abilities, to bring out the best in them. Punts are like hand grenades. If you are not absolutely certain that you can field them, you get out of their way. On a 49ers team that has won games all season by not making risky plays and giving the other team good field position, he should have pulled Williams from the game after he dove for the punt. That is just terrible judgement. The final straw should have been running right into the punt and then acting like nothing had happened. That cost us the game right there and yet he was still kept in. That was 100% on Williams and Harbaugh.

He gave us a great season and if Ginn had not gotten injured and replaced by an incompetent punt returner we almost certainly would be going to the Super Bowl. He blew the game for us by making the first major special teams mistake of the year and then failing to protect the ball yet again in overtime. You guys earned the win by not making those kind of mistakes. Good luck in the Super Bowl.

of course I can extend you rationalization of why the big bad 49ers didn't win by saying if NO didn't have 5 turnovers and hand the game to the 49ers you wouldn't have even been playing yesterdays game. How doesthat sound to you? Just using your logic.

You hit the on the head. I'm a transplant from Michigan and a Lions fan ,I loved the guys grit when he was at University of Michigan but seeing Schwartz go off on him after the Lions Niners game and Jim acted like he did nothing ( was heard telling Schwartz to **** off) to get Schwartz fired up got under my skin especially with all the sports shows nation wide calling Schwartz a thug and holding Harbough as the new darling of the NFL. He's a good coach but he is still a major Jerk as a man! Seeing him brush aside coach Patton last week after the Saints game I said this guys a clown. Then this week seeing him blow off Coach Coughlin showed what little class he has, especially with TC being one of the classiest coaches in the league! I was pulling for the Giants and they made my day! I hope Giants nation starts to realize what a special coach they have. He gets alot out of his players, especially with the injuries your team has had to fight through this year! Congratulations Giants , you guys earned it !

A little eye contact would've been nice. Heck, even Belechick, before sneaking off the field with one second left, hugged Coughlin. For a rookie head coach to completely brush off a guy whose been coaching for over a quarter decade and had a Superbowl ring was absolutely disrespectful

And when he wouldn't grant Fox into the lockerroom for an interview - childish. If Harbough wants to make it, he better toughen that skin up because next year he may not coast to 13 wins

Jim Harbaugh has always been a d!c#.This is nothing new.As I watched the game Sunday I kept praying for the Giants to win just so I could see the look on that D-bags face when his season ended. It was priceless.Did you see him throwing tantrems on the sidelines when he didn't get the calls he thought should have gone his way? He's totally classless and unprofessional and like Rex Ryan inthe next few years his team will start to take on his personality. Then everyone will hate the 49ers as much as the Jets

When I read about his comment that Patrick Willis didn't use his hands to hold Ballard in week 10 game, I realized he is a just a tool. No "well, it could have gone either way, or we dodged a bullet". Nope it's we are great and our technique at pass interference doesn't involve hands so it's OK.
The game was on the line and the 49ers committed an obvious holding call on 4th and 2 from their 10 yardline.
I don't believe I have ever seen 2 consecutive Offensive holding penalties until 49ers and Saints game, same play, same result. That means it's coached, the WRers are coached to run straight into the defenders.

They are coached to commit borderline penalties as often as they can. Bradshaw missed a screen @ one point. Stopped running, put his head down slightly and started to walk towards the bench. All of sudden, boom he gets a huge shove. It wasn't an hour after the whistle, but it was after the whistle and not one of those plays where the defender was real close and could not let up. Niners play hard, but also play dirty.

haha harbaugh didnt get any humble pie served to him. his gameplan was superior to coughlins. now im a billls fan but id happily accept my team getting as lucky as yours. point to stats like 1-13 on 3rd down and completions to receivers, but bottom line is those stats were good enough to beat your team. the giants offense could only muster 10 points in the second half..... all because of a backup returner. no he did not fumble cause of coaching haha at this point in your career you dont need to be told to hold on to a ball or get away from it. so in other words minus kyle williams the giants offense was shut down for 0 points in the second half. oh yea and sorry but bradshaw was stripped. giants were very lucky and i hope it stays with you in the superbowl cause as a bills fan i cant see the pats win another.

Just like the 49ers were lucky we didn't have our starting long snapper in that infamous 02 divisional game or...

You have to be prepared to give additional coaching time to a backup in a vital role like returner in a playoff game. In a game that was so close, Harbaugh should of told Kyle Williams to just hit the ground whenever Giants players came close to avoid any mistakes.

The Bradshaw fumble WAS right and even if it wasn't, it would of been poetic justice for the 02 game when the refs messed up the Ineligible receiver call. Don't really have any sympathy to be honest.

An offense that failed to convert most of their 3rd downs with the exception of the junk one heading into OT did NOT do enough work.

Like it's been for majority of the year, the 49ers defense carried that game.

i doubt that (and I am a ginn/o-state fan,) and it takes quite a bit of audacity to make such a claim. too bad they didn't get it done with who they had, you know, thats what real champions do. i remember a time when our starting qb went down, and in stepped a man named Hoss, he was ready to go and we got it done. too bad ther 49ers didn't have a backup plan on special teams. the giants got boned on 2-3 terribly bad calls and they still persevered; 20-17 was the final score, live with it, lol.

Possibly but it also was an easy situation for Harbaugh and Kyle Williams to handle. Did you notice during the game that on most kick and punt returns, the Giants fell to the ground before the 49ers could tackle and go after the ball? Harbaugh should of done the same for Kyle Williams, especially since he was the backup.

It ended up being a small coaching error that had huge results for the game.

I just watched the replay as well and it's amazing how much whining he does. Complained about a spot on a Hynoski catch and said it was the worst spot he had ever seen. Looked spot on to me. He has NO class. Men are measured by how well they handle defeat, and he's a D**k.

lol im not saying ginn is the best but you guys seem to forget his replacement handed the giants 10 points. without those 10 yall dont even score in the 2nd half. and the strip in ot wasnt even that great, the kid was hoilding the ball out in front of him with both hands. ginn isnt a hall of famer but he also doesnt individually give the giants the 10 game winning points

Um.....no.

Ginn is a better than average returner and a worse than average player.

If he had played, the entire game would have been different. But the idea that the game would be exactly the same except for exchanging GInn and Williams is the fantasy of a brain that doesn't actually understand how sports work.

There is no argument. Ginn didn't play. That's all there is to it. People can speculate all they want. But the fact is he didn't play and the Giants won.
