meanwhile, the qb's we've faced on this 5 game win streak:

sanchez
romo
ryan
rodgers
alex smith

and we've also faced:

brady
brees
vick
bradford

this team is battle tested. who knew that the brutal schedule we had would actually be a contributing factor to this teams mentality, toughness, and grit.

I don't know what you're getting at. any body without a brain could tell you their the best QBs in the league.

Brady has had one Tough time trying to make it through these games without breaking a sweat.

:P. btw this is all irrelevant, just wanted to post gibberish

They did not beat a team with a winning record, same as detroit.

Btw they lost their Streak when they played us, and then went on the 10 game streak after they lost to us.

they did just beat the ravens though...They were talking about prior to playoffs.

And yes their 1st win came against the Ravens in the AFCCG.

Point that I believe the OP and I were trying to make, is that had a pretty easy road to the SB.

Still won't take them likely.

BTW since spy gate, have they won another SB? Just saying.

The Patriots didn't beat any team over .500 during the regular season. And when they faced the Ravens, the Ravens completely outplayed them offensively and defensively. More yardage, held ball lot longer but Lee Evans has a game winning TD pass hit him in the chest, he catches it and doesn't hold on to it as defender swipes it out. And then Cundiff misses a little chip shot FG.... Harbaugh has Cundiff sprinting out there and rushes him. He had a timeout and he should have used it there.

During the regular season the Pats did not beat 1 team that finished the season with a winning record.

Wow! We've come a looooonnnnng way when we can start taking Brady, BB, and the Pats lightly.

I love our chances in this game too, but you're talking about a HOF QB and HC who have been to 4 SBs and won 3 of them together (BB has been in a total of at least 6 SBs if you include his days with the Giants). These guys know how to win. I agree that we've been really battle tested, but this is like going up against Montana and Walsh -- NEVER discount them at all.

It built character for sure, its like they hit their bottom and then the Jets game they started up out of that hole and haven't looked back...its actural pretty awesome how it unfolded right in front of us...and probably in spite of many of us....I know for me it has pushed me to take a look at myself and what kind of a fan I've been/am and to be honest I got a bit out of control..

Big props to every member of this team coaches and players alike they got past all the injuries, criticisms and booing and put themselves in the show.......how lucky we are to be fans of thisgreat group ofGiants football players....

Honestly, I love our chances. BB and TB and Welker and those TEs scare me, but I think we're the more complete team, Eli's playing great, our D has been playing up to its potential for the past 5 games, and we've got great coaching as well. Plus, we're a mentally tough team that's done this before and now how to win it all -- experience matters a lot.

Believe me -- it blows my own mind when I can think that we're going into a rematch with the dynasty of the past 10 years, and I just strongly believe that we're the better team and will win. It blows my mind as well.

Detroit beat Dallas, Dallas was 9-7 this year or 8-8 but they had a "winning" record.
