Now, everyone has said PUT JACOBS AND BRADSHAW IN THE BACKFIELD, just like how ron dayne should have been a fullback. But you look at Jacobs strengths, and he's become very good at pass protection and catching, and lets face it, he's really only good at running at dbacks in the open field.

While he's still a serviceable runner, he gets shoelace tackled too often, and his durability over a season is always a doubt. But he still has skills, why not use him as an h-back?

Why not use the big body and reach as a blocker so he can still maul people while using his whole body, and can protect himself? Why not have him, AB, and hynoceous all in the backfield? It couldnt be any worse than having two of our useless tight ends on the field at once.

Instead of 250 weak, inconsistent carries a year, why not 180 quality touches a year? He still has great passion for the game and is useful, he shouldnt be a wasted cap casualty next year. He's just worried about linebackers teeing off on his knees at the LOS, so just find him something else to do.

Jacobs is just being a patient runner.

isn't that already Hynosky's job ; for way less money and currently not a free agent.

it's still a business , and we are still cap heavy.

Ok, excluding Bear's td last week, when was the last time our tight ends made a catch OR a block? Ive seen bear whiff more blocks and throw his hands in the air more than boss, and ballard drop more easy passes than michael matthews.

I exxagerate, of course, but you have to admit the giants tight ends are near the bottom of the league, just based on inconsistency alone
