From the Daily News:

Patriots fans packed the lower level of Gillette Stadium in Foxborough on Sunday to give the AFC champions a raucous Super sendoff.

But it was nothing compared to the party Tom Brady expects to have back in New England next week.

“We’re going down there for one reason,” Brady said before the Patriots boarded their charter flight to Super Bowl XLVI. “We’re going to give it our best and hopefully we’ll have a lot more people at our party next weekend..

Vernon Davis made that same mistake and look what happened!!!

Agreed, there are no plans for a party, he's just saying we want to have one if we win.

Really. The backpage of the Post and Daily News took this WAY out of context. If you read Brady's quote carefully, he said 'HOPEFULLY' we'll have another party to come home to next week. No guarantees. No promises. Just hope.

I really can't stand the NY media anymore. They've become such homers. Lupica, Schwartz - they really need to put the pom-poms down. All those stupid pictures on the front and back pages with Eli's face superimposed over Rambo or whatever was just cringeworthy
