In Playoffs with better records then them to reach SB.

So who is the other team that's done it then?

I guess I would have to go back and check 07 to see if TB had a better record then us. I know Dallas and GB both had better records then us that yr.

If not us, then maybe Pittsburgh yr after us or maybe GB last season??

It wasn't the 07 giants. Tampa Bay was 9-7 and the giants were 10-6

No the '07 Giants because they were 10-6 and TB was 9-7.

Without googling it, the '10 Pack is a good bet.

With that said we beat teams in this years playoffs with a combined record of 39-10

Atlanta 10-6
Pack. 15-1
49ers. 14-3

Wow.

Now we try and take out another 15-3 team on ten game win streak. So when we are done.... We would of took out 4 teams with a 54-13 record

Lets see they were 10-6 right?
Beat Philly in first round who were 10-6 I think
Then 13-3 falcons and who they beat in NFCCG

Tech 9-6-1 is better then 9-7 correct?

That was season where mcNabb didn't know rules in OT?

Steelers of 08 were 12-4 first place...

Steelers of 05 went through playoffs on road as WC all three games however they had a 11-5 record. First round they played at them 11-5 bengals... So it's not them either..

I must be tired. Can't find who the other team is. Unless I just missed it. Someone help me out here and tell me who this mystery team is and did they win SB?

i think it was AZ, or it could be the only other team in NFL history to have won the SB with 9 wins during the reg. season and that was the GB packers like 60 years ago.

AZ did it but they beat a 9-6-1 Eagles team... and a tie is essentially a loss that doesn't count as a loss...

Yea if u look back just a little I had already checked and saw eagles were 9-6-1 so i guess its them...

If u look back I also rule our last years Packers and the 05 Steelers. Now it gets tough. Those were the teams in recent memory that sis it WC...

It was Arizona in 08. They were 9-7 and played Atlanta (11-5), Carolina (12-4), and Philadelphia (9-6-1). They had the same amount of wins as Philadelphia, but a tie counts as half a win so they technically had a higher winning percentage.

Ok. That's what I thought but others in thread said no, that the tie was same as a loss...And I for one would consider that tie a loss because a professional QB didn't even know OT rules??? How can that be? McNabb could won that game for them had he not been so stupid..

I would tend to agree with u. 6 losses is better then 7 losses.
So if it is them.. Then like another poster said.. They didn't seal the deal against the Steelers. Came close but didn't.

We can become 1st team in NFL History to beat 4 teams with a better record then us.

We would also be first 9-7 team to win a SB. This has been said in other Threads. That AZ was one club to make it with that record and lost.. Forget the other

Was the 79 rams..

Giants would be worst record wise. In fact only the 1934 Giants come the closest to do it winning a Title with an 8-5 mark.

The 88 Niners, 07 Giants and last years Packers were only teams to win it all with 10-6 Marks
