That's just BS to the max. NFL Network can suck it.

Plus Santonio Holmes didn't catch the ball in bounds, his right foot was clearly off the ground.

Doesn't make sense to me.

Pat were going for 19-0
Pats offense - Best offense in NFL history
Pats Defense - Top 5 in the league that year

Cards - one of the worst defenses in the league that year.

Honestly any of these 4 games are up there as the best

Giants vs Bills

Giants vs Pats
Steelers vs Cardinals
Panthers vs Pats

Id give the edge just to Giants pats because of the story but from an entertaining factor ... These 4 are as good as it gets

Who cares 43 was a great game from start to finish.

42 in our hearts is the greatest. Outside fans who don't care about those story lines might say the first 3 quarters were quite boring.

I mean, 43 was definitely a great game...but just the shear magnitude of the upset alone should give 42 the edge...

I guarantee when we look back ten years from now SB 42 will be #1. As legends grow.

just defeating a team going for 19-0 should be enough but 42 also had the Eli final drive which included a great play by Tyree and a timely31st down by Smith!

I'm sorry you find good defensive play boring.

Yeah, because a snoozefest the Steelers were leading 20-7 entering the fourth quarter was all that entertaining.

Both games are known for their manic fourth quarters. I suppose NFL Network chose 43 because the Cardinals had to overcome a larger deficit, but ultimately there wasn't much of a difference in scoring. For historical reasons alone 42 should be #1.

There are a bunch of Giants, Steelers and 49ers fans that would disagree with you.

And they would be right.

SB 43 was not a great game from start to finish, it was pretty much one sided until a sloppy 4th quarter allowed the Cardinals back into it.

And then, all Big Ben needed was a field goal to tie and send into OT, and the play to Holmes was made well within FG range. With Manning and the Giants, down by 4, anything less than a TD would result in a loss.

Thats VERY RARE... On most of the ones i saw. (i posted one here a few days ago by FoxSports) they have the Pats SB with us as Number 1 and the one vs Bills as Number 3. I dont remember where 43 came in but it wasnts even second. it was down the list some.

just went on that Thread and copied 2-10... We already know SB 42 came in #1... I was wrong SB 43 came in 4th right behind our SB 25.

Coming in at #10 was SB 44 Saints 31-17 over Colts
Coming in at # 9 was SB 10 Pitt 21-17 over Dallas
Coming in at # 8 was SB 3 Jets 16-7 over B. Colts
Coming in at # 7 was SB 23 SF 20-16 over Cinn
Coming in at # 6 was SB 32 Denver 31-24 over GB
Coming in at # 5. was SB. 34 St Louis 23-16 over Titans
Coming in at # 4. was SB 43 Pitt 27-23 over AZ
Coming in at # 3 was SB 25 Giants 20-19 over Buffalo
Coming in at # 2. was SB 36 Patriots 20-17 over St Louis Rams

Personally like others on here. I think SB 34 should have been ahead of that one. Maybe even #2
