Very odd. NFL Network ticker bar was showing Gronkowski as playing as "limited practice".

Did he miss practice today?

I'm not sure, but at this point it's very likely.

Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski practiced Thursday for the first time this week.

What does limited mean though? He could have limped around while running his routes.

If he plays I'm sure his feet will get tangeled up with someones on def. if you know what I mean.

We should only have to worry if after the first tackle he gets up not showing any ill affect and goes back into the huddle.
