I head on The Hurd this morning that they would take the top 4 pats recievers over the top 4 giants recievers... their stats look higher but infact not even close
I compared Nicks, Cruz, Manningham, and Ballared
to
Welker, Gronk, Hernandez, and Branch
results:
NYG: 235Rec - 3855yrds - 24TDs
NEP: 342Rec - 4508yrds - 38TDs
at first glance NE looks like the better group but thats just because the play for a pass happy pats team. even when the NYG run game isnt producing we still run the ball alot more.
more indepth look:
NYG 16.4 yards per catch
NE 12.2 yards per catch
NYG TD catch every 9.8receptions
NE TD catch every 12.2 receptions
Inflated stats by lack of running game and pass happy offense.
id take the giants top four any day of the week
just some fun facts - thoughts?
