who gets nervous on punt and kickoff returns...it would be nice for Eli to work with a short field once in a while...who is the answer on returns??...are we waiting on Hixon to return or do we need to go out and get someone??......stay blue.....

I hear you but I am just happy they protect the ball. Rather see an 80 yard drive by the offense then a redzone muff for the other team...

Be happy that the Giants offense is fully capable of 80 yard drives all day long....

You can count on one hand the guys in the league who consistently change the field off of PR and KR. They are rare and we are unlikely to find one who can help elsewhere. (Almost no one can be a return specialist anymore with the way the rosters are structured). I am content with no turnovers and modest returns. Our offense and defense will take care of the rest.

lol, during punt and kick returns I am usually yelling at the tv "go down, go down!". Tell the truth, who else does that?

Step, step, fall to the ground... the Ross Return is the latest dance sensation sweeping the nation!

I get nervous every time. We don't have the talent back there so I believe that Coughlin tells them not to fumble the ball. I think it is good coaching and support it. Hope Hixon comes back 100 percent. we sure could use some help back there.

It is what it is for Sunday next year it has to be looked at.

i think the returners are doing an adequate job! they are not sensational but as Gametime says, they secure the ball!

then again, maybe this game they will have a coupla break aways for big gains!

I don't get nervous because they don't really fumble, I just have no expectations....like actually none. I literally expect them to fall within taking three steps. Heck, if we go five yards I consider it progress! Definitely something that needs to be looked at next year.

i dont get too nervous on KR, b/c half the time we don't even return them and even if the returner muffed one, he'd have a few seconds to go get it

PRs are nerve wracking ... and none of the guys we've had back there this year have earned my 100% trust, but here's to hoping for 1 final game of ball security on STs ... overall we have done a good job

oh and i leave the room on Tynes FGs and peep around the corner ... as u can imagine ... i was a complete mess before the GW FG by Tynes vs. the 49ers with the memories of 2003, Tynes not being Matt Bahr, and the 5 yard penalty followed by a low snap ... literally shaking until it went thru

As long as they don't give up the ball. Sometimes I feel more confident with a long drive than good field position.
