I feel Belicheck will figure out how to slow or almost stop the Giant pass rush this time around, however, I am more concerned with Eli playing the best I have seen him while under stress. The Pats D has been great in the play offs but for how long? Againsts a real hot Eli? I think they will hit the wall in this one and get exposed by Eli.
Gronkowski is injured, Brady played like crap in the last game etc.....
I feel the only chance the Pats have is if Gronk is sandbagging AND Brady plays a great game. As I mentioned, I do think the Pats O line will hold up better this time around

If this game were played ten times I feel the Giants would win 6 out of 10, maybe even 7 out of 10

What???? I a realist. Just because I feel they probably will not beat the Giants doesn't mean anything. I want the Patriots to win but I think it's going to take too many things going perfectly to be feasable. As I just said 6 out of 10. If Eli plays poorly and Brady has a good game I think the Pats win. Problem for me as a Pats fan is that Brady looked like crap, Gronk is injured, and that Eli is playing great.

It's not thatI don't agree with you, but to go on the other team's board the day before the SB and basically concedeis shameful. I wouldn't stand for someone who called himself a Giants fan doing that.

I dunno man...Regardless of whether I felt that way or not, I can't envision myself on the Pats board talking like that. I mean sure, we'd all be very happy to agree with you I suppose lol. But whats the point of it all?

In all honesty I think most Giants fans think this is gonna be a dog fight till the end. Sooooo, yeah...Enjoy the game, it should be a classic when it's all said and done. Until then, be a bit of a homer and enjoy the run.

I am not buying into the Gronk's injury. This guy will most likely have a monter game.

Yeah I've noticed that as well. Not just Pats fans but our backs haven't been any point of discussion, really.

I can't say they're being slighted in some way because in all honesty they've had a bad year. (whether it's Oline or not). But I do agree, they do seem to step it up in big games and against certain teams. I think they'll do very well to be honest.

I don't drink any coolaid a fan can be a realist. I think the Pat have a fair chance I just think they have a difficult task with the Giants. My father in law is from the Bronks. Told him the same thing. Do I have to be a blind fan to be a fan? I did not say I want the Giants to win. I think the Giants just need to play a "good" game to win. I think the Pats need to play a "great" game to win.

Thinking whatever you want and posting what you think on another teams board are 2 different things. In fact, it'streasonous!!Just because you don't drink the Brady-aide doesn't mean you're going to gain any brownie points here.

Why are you even here? Did they kick you off the Patsy board for not being a homer?

Pats have shut down the number 1 and number 10 rushing offenses in the NFL in the playoffs. Unless the Pats play nickel or dime against your base don't see the Giants run game being much of a factor.

The fact the Eli's is "hotter" than Brady is kinda of a myth.

Both torched bad passes D in the Divisional round. In the CGs they played against essentially the same team. Manning scored 20 points in 17 possesions (started two drives in FG range) and threw two balls right in the hands of the defenders.

Brady scored 23 points in 11 possesions. Threw two picks no drives started in FG range.

So you're gonna cover all our WR's and stop the run at the same time? Sorry, but you guys are going to have to pick your poison. If I'm BB I'm taking my chances with our running game and keeping guys covered up as well as possible. But we shall see.

If you put in Hynoski and Ballard we'll be in a 3-4 base with a Safeties deep just like the Ravens game. If Ray Rice couldn't run against it Bradshaw shouldn't be able .

If you go 3 Wrs with Beckum we'lll counter with DBs but then you lost 2 good blockers.

Remember the Pats don't really have interior pass rushing specialist (Mike wright and Myron Pryor are on the IR). So Wilfork and another 300+ DT almost always be in the game. We won't flood the field with DBs because most of the suck (which is why Edelman plays). We'll better of with DLs and LBs to try to get pressure.

I pray TC really tries to establish the run (I doubt he will). Because that means Jacobs is gonna get 3 yards and not Nicks getting 50.

Covering the NYG WRs is going to be a huge task but I just don't see the run game being a factor.

When we played you in 07/08 I felt you guys were the better team overall. Yet we were one of the only teams that could beat you in the SB because of our defensive line as well as Eli showed back then the ability to be clutch.

Now we are the better team in many ways, and should win, but if TB is protected and Eli is not it could end up in your favor.

I am hoping it ends the same way w/a another Giants SB win, but I am not sleeping on the Pats, because I doubt they will quit at all.

Don't get me wrong by the 1st post you quoted. I by no means think our offense is going to be run 1st or think that it will be a huge factor. I was mainly commenting on how little attention they seem to have received in all this. I don't see them being dominant in any way but do think they will do well enough to keep you guys honest.

I'm relying on our passing game for sure in this one.

I think as well as the Pats D has been playing, they will have trouble with Cruz, Nix, etc... What good is stopping the run when Cruz is pulling off 50 yard plays? I just don't see them stopping the Giants big plays down the field. Maybe BB has a plan but you need to look at the roster. Edelman covering deep? Come on man! He is a versatile guy, and I like him, but he is not going to stop Cruz. Unfortunately for the Pats, they are going to loose on some big plays. The only way they win is if Brady has a monster game. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. Despite what some are saying about me, I have the right to be critical of my team.
What makes me want to vomit is a homer who can't be critical of their own team. I'm sure coaches are critical of their team. That's how you identify flaws needing to be repaired.
Maybe some other Patriots fan wearing a red white and blue wig, with face paint and puke on his shirt with touch base later but I would expect he would end up on the smack board.
Anyway, I think BB has a way of making something out of nothing. After the first few games this year I never expected them to be in the SB so I guess I should be happy they are even in the big game.
