Ok, so here it is, in all it's otherness...

In the first half the Giants will do almost exactly the opposite from an offensive standpoint as they have done in the past...they will run, run, and run some more. They will use the run to take off any pressure on Eli, they will use the run to set up the pass, they will run to kill the clock, win the time of possesion war and keep Brady off the field. This will pay huge dividends. They will run to get the blocking butterflies out. It will set up the play action and the screen...

In the second half they will run more..

I hear the questions...what happens when the run is ineffectual...when the Patriots stop it, and stop it and stop it...I say...keep pounding the rock....

I don't think this game will be as close as the pundits are suggesting. Giants 31 Patriots 20. The Gmen will fall behind early....perhaps by as much as 17. BUT...the run will pay dividends...

Your thoughts?

G.O.

Not a chance we fall behind 17... we are the better team, the better offense, it may be a close game early on but the Giants will pull away in the 4th Q

"Giants will do almost exactly the opposite from an offensive standpoint as they have done in the past"

------

Why would you want to do the opposite. What they have been doing has produced the hottest team in the NFL and a trip to the superbowl and you think we should change course?

Also, why try and take the ball out of our best players hands? I want to see them run the ball as well, but Eli throwing to HN, VC, MM, JB, AB, BJ, HH, BP is what make this team tough to stop. The pats secondary needs to be attacked and the giants have the perfect offense to do it.

Contrary to public opinion, SB hype, the Giants are a running team. There is little if no mention of this in all the analysis that you hear. It's all about what Eli can do with the WR's. We could not run against SF bc they have an outstanding run defense. We will run tomorrow....it will be the difference.

I say the running game will play a big part in the game maybe gaining 160 or so. However it will be to set up the pass.

Eli will light them up early and often
