I think you misunderstand. he had some great punts that buried the Pats.

Had that been Dodgy, he'd shank the hell out of the balls.

just saying, echoing what BOTH Tuck and Eli said:

It took all 53 Men to secure this Victory.

Flawless job by him today. Hard to imagine anyone doing better. Even the touchback should have been downed at the 1.

yes, the patriots had really atrocious field position all day, and his punt led to the first points. there are a lot of unsung heroes in this game

Yep correct.. But he was a worthwhile investment that paid huge dividends.

He could have been the MVP, had some ridiculously clutch punts.

I am absolutely glad we have him on our team, the Jets are idiots for letting him go. Im so happy for him.

Weatherford could have a very long career with the Giants. he's got the leg and some brilliant accuracy, and you could say he's the best athlete on the team

Yeah, I agree. I am happy for him too. After the way Mike Westoff spoke ill of him in the press, I knew something like this would happen after Weatherford responded to him after getting into the playoff.

each year we won the superbowl a guy we had no business signing fell right into our laps.

first time around it was hedge****, this time it was weatherford.

both times we had a need, both times the types of guys we were looking for (blocking FB, directional punter) fell RIGHT into our baskets.

unbelievable.

I think you misunderstand. The effin superbowl is probably refferring to him getting caught on camera after the san fran game saying "We're going to the f***ing superbowl"</P>

And there were a lot of people on this board that wanted to give Dodge another shot. I remember a lot debate on here.

All year, his punting was stress free .....unlike last year, when Dodge gave me grey hair.... Thank God the Jets didn't want him.....
