Here we go again!!!

By the way this stuff is all first time in NFL History except for last few

First 9-7 team to win a SB
First team to win a SB with a minus point differential 394-400
First team to win SBs in 4 different decades (86,90,07,11)
First team to win 4 SBs being behind at halftime in all 4 games
Now 11-0 in all Rematch games (home or away)
TC oldest coach to win a SB
Now 7-0 in all games away from home or on nuetral site
Eli is now 7-0 in all such games above
Eli now 8-3 overall in postseason

Unreal guys !!!
ALL IN!!!

Oh and since it's all in one Thread, let's add what another gmen fan in another thread pointed out..

The Giants are now 4-0 withe the same type White Wristband....
Simms wore it and we won!
Hoss wore exact same kind and we won!
Eli wore it in 07 and we won!
And now Eli wore it again last and we won!
The only QB that didn't wear one was in 2000 when Kerry Collins and we lost. Other thread showed pics of all 5.. I will link it later

broke a record going 9-9 to start the game as well.

also he had a 75% completion percentage or better, only Simms and one other QB have reached that mark, I believe the other was Brady. Forgot but it was mentioned after the game.

Whats the record for the shortest time between everyone calling for a head coach and defensive coordinator to be fired, and winning the Superbowl?

Hard to prove, but I think we got that one too ;-)

lmao.</P>

So true. So true.</P>

Funny thing is I can see all the TC detractors saying after our first late season loss or first round playoff exit, "TC hasn't won any playoff games outside of those 2 times we won the SB."</P>

There are old threads that we made or posted in that say so..

I remember making one prior to the GB game saying we were going to lose a very close game just like in 07 and it would make us believe we could stand up to anyone.. People thought we were crazy predicting a 4th loss in a row. Crazy to compare it to 07"

Yet we did!!

Iin playoffs where Eli lost a game, he has never won a game.

In playoffs where Eli won a game, he has never lost a game.

Also the Giants responsible for ending major patriots streaks all with Eli making long Drives to beat them with about a minute left

These are all in last 3 games against them

07--- 18 wins in a row----- Pats lost
11----20 Home wins in a row-- Pats Lost
11----2.5 years without Back to Back losses is stopped in same gm
12----10 wins in a row---- Pats lost

We own them!

Just of curiosity, has a super bowl winning team ever been beaten twice in the same year by the same team? (redskins)

Well as you know Dallas beat us twice in regular season in 07 but we got them back in the playoffs.

Not sure if that's what you meant or if a team lost twice to same team, then did not play them in playoffs and went on to win SB.

In that case, I am sure it's happened but without doing a bunch of research, hard to know

Man after reviewing this thread, its truely amazing what this tea was able to accomplish while having the most injuries of any team ever. And one of the hardest schedules ever..
