Not sure if posted already! While the guy hasn't been what we expected, he is still a Giant! Wish you a speedy recovery.

Yep yep ... won't see him next year.

Same with Ballard most likely.

Haven't heard yet, but with the way he went down on the sidelines, I'm pretty sure it will be an ACL tear.

What was the report on Ballard?

Torn meniscus cartilage on top of his already torn PCL. Surgery not entirely required. Doesn't look great.

Torn MCL is better then a torn ACL.

We should see him next season then. Sort of good news considering.

I am not giving up on ballard just yet...before his injury he was doing surprisingly very well.... although a 2nd TE would be nice

Both will be released. I think Reese will take a cleaver to the roster.

IF Ballard will be fine for next season, then I have NO desire to draft a TE this year unless he's the BPA. Ballard showed what he can do when he's healthy, and Pascoe adds very good depth as both a TE and FB. This is real quality production for less money.

Meniscus in and of itself is not a huge injury. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in training camp.

The bad news is that this furthers his knee injury history. The next injury might be just around the corner (and might NOT be), but I think to put all of our eggs in Ballard's basket is a mistake.

We don't need a star at TE. Just someone smart who can block and catch a ball when our WRs are covered.
