I'm on the fence with this one to be honest. Not sure how much i'd be willing to spend for him. Nicks is a a definite. Cruz? We whould definitely resign him (duh), but at how much? I say 5 million a year - similar contract we gave Smith.

I hope this does not change the Cruz we have all grown to love for his onfield performances and off-field humbleness. His professionalism both on and off the field for someone his age is what is needed in the league today. Football needs to remain his number one priority and his growth needs to continue to rise!

Good, maybe he won't be too desperate for a raise from the Giants.

Im hoping we do what we did with Tuck. Sign him to a 4 year extention off his existing contract (5 years), with incentives. He def earned a fat payday after this season (Give him a huge bonus upfront), but have to keep them hungry. Cruz is one of those guys though that will give you 100% no matter what.

Cruz and JPP deserve some dough, re-up and lock them up longer. Tuck and Nicks are coming up after that.

Uhm. Of course he's getting paid. I said as much. It's a matter of how much.

And i responded to you about me being wrong about Eli. I haven't said anything about Eli that has made me eat crow yet. If he has another great year, i'll definitely be eating crow about my statement that he's inaccurate, inconsistent, and inefficient.
