Letterman asks Eli about his relationship with Tom Brady, and Eli says that they don't talk much - "I don't know if he likes me"!

Now that's some witty ****!

Was hilarious. I was cracking up. He was like "ehh not really...i dont think he likes me very much". Funny thing is he wasnt saying it as a joke he was just being honest haha.

Eli gave a pretty funny interview. I liked his little WR gambit, too.

I don't think the Patriot fans like Eli very much either.

I liked it when Dave asked him about being an elite QB, and Eli responded with do you think you are an elite talk show host..or something along those lines

thought he was funny

Don't they rehearse these questions, btw? Maybe some of them are actually scripted including this one. I thought the interview after the last SB was pretty funny but when I thought about it, maybe Eli was given some of the punch lines, like Bilichick leaving early to beat the traffic.

Don't click on Manning#1 link. I'm afraid I fell for it. I've sent in an abuse report. Hoping it didn't give me a virus.

CBS posts full episodes of Letterman on their website. Eli was the first guest last night, think he went on about 20 minutes into the show.

Sometimes with things like this they aren't quite as scripted due to time constraints. Eli may not have been able to get to the studio early enough to really rehearse it.

Not saying it wasn't, just that there's a good possibility that it wasn't.

They don't script them. Eli literally ran in and they even held up the taping for him to arrive.

And then have to go back to NY to do the interview in the same day? Gosh, being quarterback and MVP can be brutal lol.

But if anyone can handle it, it's E.

If he does it's very brief...they don't even confirm that he'll be on the show until after the SB, remember? And then he was in Disney...then went straight to taping. Kinda makes you wonder when they would have sent the questions?
