  • Kevin Stefanski likely to be Giants offensive coordinator if all the pieces fall into place

    http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/fo...icle-1.3808107

Excerpt: "The Giants could have their new offensive coordinator by the end of the week.

They just need all the pieces to fall in place first.

Vikings quarterbacks coach Kevin Stefanski is the preferred choice but will not be released from his contract to interview with the Giants unless the Vikings hire Eagles quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo as their new offensive coordinator, according to The Sporting News.

DeFilippo, who played an integral role in the development of Carson Wentz, is scheduled to interview with the Vikings Thursday evening following the Eagles Super Bowl LII parade, per Albert Breer of MMQB.

If a deal is reached, Stefanski would immediately become available to join the Giants staff.

DeFilippo, though, could decide to wait and see what happens with Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich, whom the Colts requested to interview for head coach on Wednesday after Josh McDaniels spurned them." Read more...

Those people actually don't have lives. They eat, sleep and drink football. Number one reason most guys retire, is to spend time with their families and get back to a normal life. So no, he doesn't have anything better to do, considering the millions he gets paid.

And it's ONE PERSON that wants to see an OC hired? Maybe you should read some threads before make that assertion.

And to you that means that Shurmur lied? Is this an example of your multi-dimensional thinking? lol

We need to get an OC who is not even going to call plays in place immediately to be ready for the draft? That thinking is certainly not of this dimension. Hahaha

that was prior to the whole josh mcdaniels staying in new england after taking the colts job, debacle. I'm imagining they had to adjust on the fly to the circumstances.
