BB can't see in to the future but he would've addressed the issues with Eli a lot quicker than TC and KG did.

How about Eli lays up to his potential.

    • Good point, especially about the protection part and him being a better down field passer, I have to disagree with the point about him getting flustered under pressure, that true for every qb IMO. See the 2011 nfc title game if u need to see how he handles pressure.

I don't mean to suggest that he always gets flustered in the pocket. In 2011 he was very calm in the pocket. Made lots of lateral moves to create time.
But when his confidence is shaken, as it was last season, it's a different Eli. Lots of chucking and hoping.

I've always believed that Eli's inconsistency comes from the fragility of his confidence.

                • In ur opinion what was the best sox team ever? My uncle sticks by the 78 team being the best actually, I wasn't born yet, so I can't say, that 2004 team was pretty good though

                    78 by a mile.

2007 was probably next because they were essentially to best team in baseball from April through the WS win. They were in first place all year.

But the 78 team was a powerhouse.

See that fascinates me, I've heard a number of Red Sox fans say the same thing, I know the history of that 78 team but were they better than the 75 team that was a win away from winning it all? And the Eck and Tiant were nice pitchers but that 2004 staff was with stacked

Yea I know, I've watched the 78 yankees "it don't come easy" video too many times, not the same as living it though.

2007 was better than 2004. They pretty much dominated MLB all year.

The 78 team was just awesome though. Bucky "****" Dent.

And in 75, El Tiante was one of the most hard nosed pitcher I ever saw. The three games they won were all started by Tiant.
I was born in Cleveland and he was a great pitcher for the Indians when I was a little kid.

I'll take ur word on the 78 team but the 2004 team wax better than 07 despite how much easier it seemed for the 07 team. Damn MH 2007 was a great year for ur teams

I had "The Morehead Trifecta" as my sig. Giants, Sox and Celtics all champs.

Right now isn't too bad though. Sox and Uconn hoops. I guess it's the "Morehead Exacta".
