By the way, that's a work joke. When someone here says "be more creative" they usually actually mean that they want you to do something stupid, uninformed or illegal.
The large majority of our clients are foreigners who own or operate business in the US or US resident non citizen business owners. So you can imagine the "creative" ideas they have asked me to do. Many don't understand about having to actually file a return because in their home country they give the local rep some cash and no return is needed.

Luckily it isn't my neck on the line, I just do the grunt work. The boss gets all the credit and all the blame and he barely even checks my work before filing anymore.

in my line of work it usually involves employee scheduling, so "Creative scheduling" usually means "piss everyone off"

Of course. That way he can blame you and then just fire you when you're wrong.

I prefer the Original NES one, the SNES one, and Ocarina of Time for N64. Also, the new one is freaking incredible.

Yeah, about 8 or 9 years ago I reported to a fairly well known wall street power player. She scheduled two standing meetings for our workgroup every week: 7am on Monday and 6pm on Friday.

Man, that was a room full of pissed off persons every week.

I have the actual console, but no idea where any of the games are.

He won't fire me for that, then he would have to do the work himself. He said he'd rather me screw it up than have to do it himself to get it right.
