And let me guess - all those folks who had those cellphone tickets were blabbing away on their phones, even after being told to hold it down.
Ironically: even though the big mean cop in the courtroom said 3 times electronic devices had to be on silent or turned off, people's phones rang out loud 3 times in 45 minutes. They were escorted out of the courtroom.

I called my insurance: apparently by the time the points would've appeared on my policy, which renews in one month, they will be gone by next year's renewal.....

"Sir, I was wondering: did you happen to catch the professional football contest on television last night?"
    "No...I didn't."
"Oh it was most exhilarating: the Giants of NY took on the Packers of Green Bay and in the end the Giants triumphed by kicking an oblong ball made of pigskin through a big H. It was a most ripping victory."

    • Also: DON'T get a dui........I saw 2 of those today and the judge threw the book at them.....for a first offense! One guy had to be 80 years old!

        Hey..I only had 2 beers.
Admit nothing. Deny everything. Make counter accusations.

          Fine by me.

BTW: just so you all know: 75% of folks in court today were there for cell phone use while driving. First offenses. Automatic $300 fine and you're on probation for 6 months: do it again it's $600. Third time it's $900 and loss of driver's license for one year.
Well at least they worked with you.

I can't believe all the people who continue to use their phone while driving. Wyckoff police came out publicly a couple years ago saying they didn't think it was an issue. I guess times have changed.

          • Last night I watched the first Ali-Frazier. That was some fight.

Both the guys took such a beating that night.

I could never stand Ali's style, and loved seeing Joe put him down.

              You know Wyckoff?
That's funny you say that because 2 of those folks were from Wyckoff but came to Ridgewood court.

Btw, I don't live in either Wyckoff or Ridgewood.

I saw the fight at a theater in Waterbury, CT. All three fights were great.

I should have gone with you. We wouldn't leave there without it being zero points.

                  I blame myself.

I'd love to be there, to see you and a guy named Sarcasman go in front of a judge who happens to have a Cowboys hat on.

Oh man, I just spent the last month driving into RIdgewood.

I cannot take their and Glen Rock's 25 MPH town wide speed limit.

I got a ticket years ago for doing 41. You gotta keep it around 35 in those towns.

I live in North Haledon which is a small town that borders Wyckoff.

Yeah, the cops got nothing better to do than sit there and pull over people.

North Haledon? I went to William Paterson. Hung out at some bars there a bunch....25 years ago lol
